Running same grips on my 14’ Street Glide.
Love them.
However I do like their XL wide contour grip better.
Install and drilling dimples in bars were simple. Just like drilling a dimple on barrel for a gas block.
Just make sure you use a spring loaded auto center punch prior to drilling.
I installed the grip and tightened down the setscrews where I wanted it then Loosened everything up and slid the grip off and my marks were right there for me already.
I am not a fan of set screws but they do work and hold.
But I’d rather my grip extend into the control housing to lock it in like my old Avon grips did.

Great video mate thank you! I just have a quick question, have you had the clutch side loosen up on you over time? I am split between these grips and the Avon's which have a flange cast in them to lock into the switch housing which seems less likely to come off under stress.
Thanks for watching. I havent had any issues with these grips at all. I still have them on. Ive had to replace the rubber on the grips but the grips have been amazing.

Yeah you had to thight on the right side . Hum I didnt have to remove the mileage button.
Yeah after I did it I probably could have gotten away with not taking it off but just in case I had to take the switch housing apart I wanted it off already. I think the right side was twisted somehow cause when I loosened them up it jumped into place then I tightened everything back down and its perfect now. Thanks for watching brother 🤙🍻🍻
Are they comfortable on long trips? Do they help to prevent numbness in your throttle hand ?
For me they are super comfortable. My hand still goes numb on long trips but I haven't found a grip that has prevented that for me just yet.

How do these grips compare to Avon’s I’ve been debating on getting these for my 14 streetglide?
I'm not sure how Avon grips are I've never had a pair of them but These grips are amazing I'm still rocking them. They haven't faded and the rubber grip hasn't come off. Sorry I couldn't answer your question completely but I'm totally satisfied with these grips . Thanks so much for watching 🤙🍻
