So what other videos are you interested in seeing besides vlogs? 🥰 I used to do favorites videos and stopped because I don't want to be the person constantly influencing you to buy. Classroom tour is coming, what I eat in a week is coming, but share ideas! You never know 🥰
Can you talk about how this year is better than last year (obviously sharing as much or as little as you want, for confidentiality)? Or maybe a video on comparing your growth from first year to your current year of teaching!
I would love to see your planning routine! Mostly how you follow your curriculum/scope and sequence and fit it into themes or seasonal activities. Thanks!!
After a few viewed vids...Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Conflict Resolution, Troubleshooting...any NON manipulative way to instill these necessary skillsets, will greatly benefit your group in the "trying" times to come. Wow! Thank you for sharing your writing activity. It was very, very, helpful. I’ll be incorporating “I’m a writing superstar” this week. Thank you, thank you for your ideas.
Can I just say I feel more productive when watching your videos and working for the week!! Like you inspire me as I plan!!! Living for these long vlogs!!🤍🧚♀️
Love all of your videos. I no longer teach to stay home with my daughter, but I still watch your videos and add to my idea lists for when I go back to teaching! 🧚🧚
October is always the month for me when I just GUSH over my students. In October they’re finally comfortable, know the routines, they understand my teaching style and I understand their learning styles, and school and lessons honestly just feels like hanging out and having fun with family while they’re learning. ….That’s October though the rest of the year ends up being stressful 😂😂😂
I absolutely loved your audio clips of how you do interactive writing. I would love to see more in class examples of the work that you do with the kids!
The way you read the book, paused, and had them repeat what you had just said is helpful. I will be doing that with my 1st grade niece when I read a book to her for her reading log. She doesn't always have books at her reading level to read.
Love hearing about your little sweeties! I have a great class this year as well. I call them the “Von Trapps” because they spontaneously break out in song at different times in our day. So fun!! TFS ☺️
Another great video. I always enjoy them, even though I teach 8th grade, I still love to see what elementary teachers are up to and I've gotten some great ideas. 🧚♀️
Okay wait tell me about asking parents for tie dye donations! I am always so hesitant to ask my parents for things coming from a previous low income district!
I just sent out a message asking parents to bring in a white shirt, and then sent out a different one listing items we needed on Class Dojo! Super simple!!! My parents this year really love to help! They bring things without me even asking!

I recently found your channel and I am sssssoooo glad I did. I’ve been teaching for 18 years. I taught 1st grade for the past 7 years and next school year I am going to be in Kindergarten. I have been binge watching your vlogs and have learned so many new things that I am going to implement ( I’m about to spend a bit of money 🤣🤣🤣🤣). This vlog is my favorite so far. Thank you for sharing your experience and process. You’ve got a new subbie 💜.
Thank you for all the work that you do to put these videos together! I absolutely love it all! The shared clip of your lesson was a genius idea thank you for sharing it with us all! 🧚

this was sooooooo helpful thank you so much and every video makes my day, you’re and amazing teacher that helps me and so many teachers all the time sending love and good thoughts
I love your vlogs and this one is exceptionally awesome! Thank you for all the details with reading lessons, the secret stories and mantras - trying to ingest all of it! My kindergartener has to do remote school for now, and as her independent learning “coach” for the school district program we are in, I’m essentially her part-time teacher (Um yay for two jobs? 😂) I have found you so sweet and helpful and I’m learning some awesome strategies to help her learn. Thank you for being such a dedicated teacher, both in your classroom and for all of us out here in RUclipsLand. 💕
Your fine motor bins look so fun and easy to prep (again I may borrow some of them?…… He He He 😃)…… I am soooo excited that your kiddos have the routines down and all of you are having a great year! Happiness!!!! And those water color directed drawings turned out just beautifully…… Have a fun week on your field trips… We have picture day too next week….. 😍
I will be teaching kinder this year. We are using Amplify and it doesn't seem super engaging. I am going to adapt the comparing stories craft you did to go with our amplify stories. The first unit is nursery rhymes and our first two nursery rhymes are Roses are Red and Ring around the Rosy. We will compare the stories in the middle section (they both have flowers) and do vocabulary for both stories on the sides since vocabulary is one of the big focuses according to the amplify objectives. I've heard a lot of negative things about Amplify from people who have used it before so I've been searching for ways to make it my own and actually teach literacy skills using the program. I've been getting pretty excited about it and your craft put it over the top for me. I would need to make mine super simple since we will only have our literacy block to do everything but I'm super excited to try.
🧚🌟I look forward to your weekly vlogs and as a student teacher you are giving me so much inspiration and excitement! Thank you for sharing all of your amazing ideas and resources! 🌟🧚
Hi Mayleen! I love your videos. I learn and feel inspired all the time. Can you link the vlog where you share the Writing Superstar song? I LOVE it! I teach a 1st/2nd/3rd combo class and I would love to share it with my 1st graders

Perhaps I’ve overlooked them but where did you purchase “your fine motor bins”? My son is online learning this year and I need something to store his materials. It brought me joy to see your joy of the Big Win for your sweet friend! Always enjoy your videos, posts and stories 🧚🏾. Blessings and love
I think you probably already mentioned this and I missed it but where do you get the stories for the secret sounds (th, ch, and so on). I have 3 kids that are learning how to write and this will really help them. Thank you! Love your videos.
Hey! Do you teach science and social studies in your classroom? I watch your video faithfully to get ideas as I am student teaching and I have seen you talk about science and social studies?
