@@nose733 hehe late response but thanks man... I love it so much but I think she needs some more power.. shes getting a kraftwerks supercharger in the future😁😁
I had a Greddy/Trust catback on my 97 Integra GSR in the 90's, sounded good, was a little too quiet. After running over something on the freeway, the exhuast rattled like crazy, so I went with a DC Sports next, it was perfect, not too loud, not too quiet, and they didn't use mid-steel for the piping, but stainless throughout. I later got a DC Sports on my 2005 RSX Type-S in the 00's, and that thing droned like crazy. You don't get used to the drone, you just learn to live with the pain. I didn't realize how bad it was until I got my next car.
Honestly this thing with a cold air would be set. Exhaust is perfect, I’m sure header and test pipe will change the sound a lot on this thing. I haven’t really seen much nitrous s2000’s so maybe that’s something different you can look into. Love the channel bro. Hope to grow mine like yours
Swap the resonator for a Vibrant Ultra Quiet 3” like i did and youll silent out that drone and maybe 2db of volume overall which is nothing.. sounds badass on my 19” Civic K20
Sounds good on the video. Hard to tell how loud without being in person though. I have a Tanabe Touring Medallion but I like the look of the single exit ones and the weight reduction that comes with them. You can get resonator installed to quiet the drone.
My S2000 on an Invidia N1 Dual Tip is just about as droney. Widely reported on the forums and such, apparently a decat/sports cat will improve the drone. Did you notice the weird tube off the stock pipe? it's a resonator specifically meant to help with the drone between 3 and 4K
the single tip looks good and has the benefit of less weight so more speed itll be louder with headers and hi flow or no cat throw another reso on for the drone had terrible drone on my 5.0 and 2 resos fixed that right up
Notification gaaang Edit: you said you were unsure if you liked the exhaust and you probably don’t want to spend more money to get another but if you have your stock exhaust still then you might want to consider UK Mod. It’s like a bypass and it would cost you a few bucks to do yourself and about $100-150 at an exhaust shop. Plenty of tutorials online and on S2Ki.com
That looks and sounds amazing! I prefer the single tip look, even if the empty cutout on the bumper where the second tip used to be looks a bit weird. My Accord has the single exhaust since since it's just the K20 engine, but the K24 engine had dual exhaust. Both had the same rear bumper, but the single exhaust models have a bodycolor plastic piece to close the cutout. Maybe something like that also exists for the S2000 idk, might be worth looking for.
Try an intake, for me the induction sound on S2000s is much better than the exhaust sound. On the flyby clips the intake already sounded a similar volume to the exhaust, and I'm guessing that's without any modifications?
@@boosted_john look for either a Js racing, Spoon, or Tomei or if you’re looking for more clean/tame sound buts still loud get a custom N1 Invidia! With a highflow muffler and some highflow resonators. 💯 ruclips.net/video/iiv5FdWcpSA/видео.html

Imagine ur just vibing at a stop light and you see a civic rolling up in ur rear view mirrors. You think to yourself "cakewalk," as it pulls up next to you. But when you begin the honk-down, you realize that it is none other than john and his 400bp (bean power) and 370(?) foot pounds of sauce. Youve already lost as hes speeding down the road, tossing beans out his window.
John, what mic are you using to get the car audio? I have a Rode VideoMic Go, but get too much road noise and not enough engine/exhuast sound. Sound is hard! Thanks!
@@boosted_john surprised how low it sounds for being a 2.5 in, my Jackson racing exhaust on my miata is a much higher pitch, albeit with .2 less displacement

Do you guys like the single tip or would you prefer a dual tip?
The Beans T
Gotta say dual for me 🤷🏼♂️
Feel like the video didn’t do the sound justice
I have dual on mine. I love the sound of the invidia n1
Single exit all day
Still so pumped that a relatable RUclipsr is building an s2k

If you don't yell into your brand new exhaust are you even a car guy? Lol

My friend has a g35 and he also has an exhaust with a lot of drone, it also hurts. I can't even think right. Keep up the good work.

Exactly the same exhaust I want to go with on my S2K. Currently got an invidia Q300 but I like Greddy much better with a test pipe
Make sure it's actually a 3 inch before you pay for it. Unless you want the 2.5. That works too.
I had this exhaust on my Subaru WRX STI, it was the same problem way too much drone. Now I have an S2000 and went with a ASM exhaust for the s2k

The skunk2 megapower paired with the headers is by far the best for the s2k imo
I had this on my STI it wasn’t loud but drone was bad !
Trust me... going down side streets in the city i get it the sound like reverberates off buildings it gets loud
Sounds great! No fart noises 👌🏻

You should try doing flybys in the middle of nowhere instead of in between houses the whole way down. Other then than good video!

Run a dc2 or performance header on it
Take the silencer out , wait for VTEC 🤪🤪
As of November 1st you need to get your plates renewed sorry now you have to pay the state of Illinois a $151.00

how much does this exhaust weigh?
Get a T1r sparrow exhaust.
Probably 3" tip not the whole exhaust
