Mick Fettes, you star! What a loss, and what a travesty that the original Madder Lake were denied the opportunity to realise thier artistic potential. The corprotisation of art has denied the world of so much great talent. Isn't it time that music was returned to the talented and artistic instead of the pretty and electronically and surgically enhanced?
LMAO! And the mighty Queen got booed off the stage for these neanderthals?? I can see why this band would have appeals so much to drunken Aussie convicts…
Wot? Only the drunken ones? At least the first American convicts (way before Australia was invaded) would have loved it. Perhaps Hotlegs is more your style? ruclips.net/video/0e0qYP_PTlY/видео.html
Freddie Mercury would get booed off stage if he was still alive and the kids today were waiting for Harry Stiles. I don't think you know how 'pop' music works. In Australia this was Pop, and no one had even heard of Queen yet. Australia (largely Molly Meldrum, poor old feller) helped to make Queen's international fame to a fairly indifferent audience, so please don't be a dick.
I saw this band many times during the 1970s. Never liked them. The lead singer thought he was Joe Cocker. But unlike Joe he cant sing. The band were great musos but were boring to watch.
From what I've heard from this group, the drummer is especially talented. Seems like they'd be fun to see live, the lead singer seems to have good stage presence. Or were they boring because you saw them so many times, lol. Did you go to a lot of shows during the 70s? If you have any stories about the Australian music scene during that time and/or bands that you saw, i'd love to hear about your experience! Any favorite bands that you saw? Also, why'd you see this group so many times, lol? Oh, and not to be mean but I think the lead singer looks like John Belushi's Joe Cocker impression than the actual guy. Also kind of looks like Roky Erickson or late-era Jim Morrison. lol
13 yrs old, bouncing around in my purple Rocker Boots, Flairs and a Paisely......I wa sooo cooool.🤣🤣🤣
Remember this song from 1973. I was only 11 years old
Just great natural Aussie rock and roll blues
I love this song and after recently finding it in my old music collection, I wanted to see the video. Thanks for posting.

Release Julian Assange from the crutches of US and UK imperialism.
