Surprisingly affordable he says. Sir you shoot a gun that costs more than my car. I cannot imagine that we would agree on what “affordable” is. 😂 love ur channel. Keep up the good work.
@@tgsoutdoors Sorry I miss your meaning on "tyre." In any case, my apologies if I confused the cost of your shotgun. I know that you have done videos on expensive and cheap shotguns in which you seemed to have preferences for both aside from the cost. I simply assumed over under equals expensive, over $2000 in USD, and you have seemingly so many opportunities for nice expensive guns so why not.
I've been following your channel for quite a while now. From backyard shotgun tests with cardboard taped to the fence in the early days, to cinematic movies like this one. You've come a long way. And every time I think this can't get any better, i realize i was wrong. In my opinion, you as a presenter and Sasha as a cameraman, are a perfect match. Btw. very impressive shooting!
Absolute beauty of a video. Sasha, great videography with such a great canvas of subject to capture. Jonnie, wonderful shooting and great narration of the experience. You both brought a Hemingway sense of adventure to clay target shooting. Great job TGS!
Brilliant video and very informative, looking forward to part two. Johnny you shot a great score, 97 ex 100 is impressive on any course. Shooting your made to measure Longthorne O/U made all the difference. Stick with it !!
What a shooting venue- absolutely epic. You could get very spoiled spending a few days on this shooting course and indulging in likely some of the best cuisine ever !!!! Thanks for this great video. You continue to outdo yourself. And that high tower- WOW !!!!
Jonny, that was worth the 3 month wait! Congrats on the scores, Sash on fire as usual, and what a great promo for the DR! It looks very high end but a shoot venue of a lifetime that would rival the global best competition! Barbury could totally do sportrap by floodlight on a weds evening in the winter. I don't know why I'm like a moth to a flame to the darkness events you show! 😍
This was wonderful to see; Delta is one of my best friends and I had been telling her for the last two years how much I enjoy your’s and Shasha’s work. Hopefully, if you come visit Dan in West Virginia, we can all catch up as I’d love to host you at our club in Pittsburgh; we have skeet, trap and a great 5 Stand!!
Once again an absolutely outstanding film, the cinematography is very easy on the eye with beautiful views. Thanks for letting us into a world many of us watching will never experience. You are such a luck man, how ever I always say, The harder I work the luckier I get !
What a stunner of a shoot. Loved it! What an adventure JC, good shooting mate and keep that bead on it's doing you well. Sash keep up the good work mate the filming is impressive. And what a great group of people, everyone happy and enjoying themselves and enjoying the shooting so much. Just wish we had the weather and such brilliant shooting facilities here in the UK. There are some great grounds but the ambience of this shoot looked and felt majical and a great thing to watch on a crappy wet weekend in July that's right JULY, Just had my 59th birthday and your video made me feel like I was in my twenties. Cheers guys, loved it!
Thanks Johnny!! Great video and added to my bucket list. Been to those sites at Casa De Campo but that was prior to getting hooked on Sporting Clays. This was awesome and congrats on your nice shooting. Cheers!
Yet another phenomenal video chaps! Well past time you guys were picked up by mainstream big media. You are the perfect champions for modern shooting and fieldsports too with an ability to bridge the young / old divide beautifully. I've been a follower of the channel for some time and seeing how far you've come in a relatively short time from those early gun reviews in the shop to this is remarkable.
Now this looks like a place for a epic shooting holiday the .410 event really appeals to me I imagine there’s some great food and drink available too !
some how I manage to miss this video till today...7 days late, You sir are one very lucky man. Also you host and produce some amazing videos and your camera man should get an award for what you could only call some owe inspiring camera work. The way that you both convey the natural beauty of an area and some how manage to show on screen how you feel about what ever it is you are doing is truly great. Please don't stop!!!!
Given what Johnny was showing five years ago, this channel really does show the possibilities of RUclips success. And it really doesn’t have all that many subscribers. But I’m seeing places I’d like to go, and being much older I can finally afford it.
Really great film Jonny and Sash well done. I predict shooting a score like that it won’t be long before you’re out regularly on the registered sporting circuit!
Now that looks fantastic! Holiday and shooting, Jake said there going to hold a open competition planned for next year. Would be very interesting to find out more That a great video TGS 👍
Well that had to be a mind blowing experience. Some years ago now but Head Keeper for Lord Pembroke Shaun went to work on a shooting operation in the DR.Guess now to ''bead or not to bead'' .🤣
I have to say, really great content on this channel! I've been enjoying it a lot so far 😁👍. Kudos to the entire TGS team for keeping the content entertaining and diverse! You're doing a fantastic job. Some of my highlights here are when you guys show "exotic" guns like the Beretta UGB, Akkar Mammut, Cosmi, etc. I would love to see a video about completely different/exotic guns soon if you have the time, the Luger 312 Triple Canardouze for instance. That could be an entertaining video. 😂
Did you get take your purdey gun with you? i miss hearing the pinging sound of the barrels when you fire it 👌🏻 so jealous of you mate, this place is absolutely stunning 😍🔥👍🏻🇬🇧
Great video as always, glad you mentioned bead's I have been thinking about changing mine I have been shooting just over a year. I have a ata PS Sporter with the red bead I seam to focus to much on it how hard is it to change to a brass one ??
Fantastic video Jonny and would love to visit.......but I think you should have shown us the live pigeon shooting. OK there may be some "politics and emotion" involved but I think you should show us brits what it's actually like so we can both deepen our understanding of other shooting cultures and form our own opinion on it.
Hi Jonny, having just watched you and Ed totally throw the one eye or two eyes open when shooting , right out the window , I would be curious to know what you did at this competition , keep one or two eyes open ?
OK Jonny. I've been searching the net for more info on this tourney. Can you point me in the right direction. I'd love to shoot in it next year. Thanks
Keep you eyes on their website: www.casadecampo.com.do/experiences/sports/shooting-center/ For more updates, and as soon as we hear something we shall put a shoutout on the channel 😊
Might be a little crass to ask what the total cost was…but what was the total cost? I must know how much to start setting aside and getting there next year.
Just had a look for some deals on Google, as going back here is high on my to do list! You can do 7 nights here, all inclusive for 2 including flights from Gatwick from £3900. Not cheap, but not bad
100 clays, cartridges, caddy and cart hire would come to about $190 at an equivalent place. Obviously we have more affordable plug and play grounds, but it’s not a fair comparison.
Lovely resort and shooting ground. Let down by the Live Pigeon Rings. Until now I thought this form of shooting had been Banned internationally? Apparently not. Not on my bucket list to visit until they go.
i just checked their rates... $45 for a round of skeet?! $170 for 100 targets of sporting clays? Am I missing something?! (...are the targets gold plated? )
Johnny, great video as always absolutely superb - did you check out the prices these guys are charging - rape and pillage m8. US$45.00 for a round of Skeet, US$50.00 for a round of Five Stand, US$260.00 for 150 Sporting. Having seen the video I was contemplating a week trip down from Virginia. Will need to sell the wife and my left testicle 😂😂
It’s definitely top end, but certainly from my experience of top end caddied grounds in both 🇺🇸 and 🇬🇧, $260/£195 for 100 clays, shells, cart hire and caddy is where they are at. I did ask a few questions about this, and was given this response which is very true. That with the logistics of importing Shells, traps, clays and guns/spares in the country, I wouldn’t begrudge the extra. Not saying that I wouldn’t love it if was cheaper and I could shoot a heap more! Alternatively you could play a round of golf for $315. I know how I’d rather spend the morning
World class cinematography boys. Absolutely stunning.
yes a very professioanly produced video indeed. what an experience indeed.
It's official Johnny, your a legend. The videos you produce are absolutely outstanding. Thank you.
This is the best presentation of a gun oriented video in you tube!! My hat's off to you gentlemen, for a job well done.
Keep up the excellence
We will try to!
@@tgsoutdoors been here from the start .

Well shot, great 97 but please from now on always shoot with a bead on your gun!!!😁
