Cornette never got over losing his 1997 WWF creative spot to Russo, who then took ratings and WWF popularity to unprecedented and unsurpassed heights. Russo has no issue with Cornette. Both men are entertaining.

A big problem is that wrestling doesn't need to be on at 8pm anymore. It's still a pg show. It should be on earlier in the day.
A lot of people watch the start but then go out for the night. If it was in earlier, they wouldnt lose so many viewers.
It’s on 7 to 9pm here. I mean. That would be 5pm cali time. 8 to 10 eastern. The reality Is ppl tune into who they want to see there and when that person isn’t on, they change the channel. The real problem with aew is they think everyone knows who all theee ppl are, but reality is the majority don’t know and they dont tell you who they are if you don’t know.

Will Osprey is the best wrestler in the world at the moment and I’m not saying that because I’m English but he’s not a good as Dynamite Kid who is pound for pound the best wrestler ever just like Bret Hart said, except Dynamite was more believable in the ring with his style as he did catch wrestling (shoot submission wrestling and it’s England’s martial art). Will Osprey is better with his acrobatic moves but Dynamite did some acrobatic moves for his day but he put in a fast, explosive, powerful and violent moves in on the ground which just made his style better as it had that realism that Will Osprey doesn’t do as it’s basically all acrobatics

tk biggest problem, not establishing the pillars (besides mjf). Tk had something there when he made them all (4) main event last year. Then fumbled it.
Tony is the son of a billionaire who will one day inherit his father’s money but he never had to do a day’s work in his life as he’s been taken care of and given whatever he wants. But Tony is a big wrestling fan hence why he started AEW but he’s never acted like a boss, he acts like he’s the wrestlers’s friend and just some of those weird pictures of Tony cuddling wrestlers like Okada, Claudio and others look at Tony’s face with a big smile on his face his eyes are closed while the wrestlers just stand there and have a weird expression on their faces like “what is wrong with this man who’s cuddling me like he’s a small boy who hasn’t seen his father in a long time”. Tony looks ridiculous in these photos as you can be sure Vince McMahon and now Triple H have never done that. And the reason he has so many problems with his wrestlers is that he treats them like friends not employees and he’s afraid to to punish or do things that might upset the wrestlers and I can guarantee Vince McMahon never had that problem with wrestlers working for him. He need to be a strong boss and not a little boy playing wrestling promoter trying to get everyone to like him.

You gonna burn out and water down your storylines with 3 shows, Raw was at it’s best before Smackdown. So you want your fans to want more of your product by restricting the amount of content you put out every week, not having your fans getting tired of it because it’s too much. AEW, Collision was a bad idea
So AEW should use a storyline that leverages her work in WWE, but she should lose her contract because she mentions that she will one day be back in WWE? Seems like kind of a double standard to me.
No, her mentioning her past in WWE would be an attempt to prove that she is the reason for her success and not the umbrella of her former company. Countless wrestlers have left WWE and attempted to prove that they can get over in other companies(like dolph ziggler) that would be her schtick. Basically saying "my individual talent is the reason Tony is paying me a major bag, not the other company, and i'll show you all that"

@@rondoughhowell6442it didn't work in WCW because WCW fans were about good old fashioned "Wrasslin'" . Not backstage vignettes and "drama". Russo's booking was very similar to what WCW was already booking in the spring and summer of 1999 with Torrie, Randy Savage's new chick and Nitro Girl bikini contests and vignettes of David Flair and other "reality television" type antics. Russo gets the overall blame because he made himself visible, which was a huge mistake. Bischoff's people pulled their offer to buy WCW too quickly because they were too focused on short-term. Imagine if Fusient and Bischoff had bought trademarks, library, rings, etc. They could've revived it 100 fold with the power of internet and netflix, etc.
