I have a bias line - Yoongi in the center, Tae to his right, and Jimin to his left. But I love all the members, and BTS wouldn't be BTS without all of them.
As they've said, this period of solo projects, will only make BTS stronger when they come back together in 2025.

Hyung (Older) Line = RM, JIN, SUGA, JHOPE
Maknae (Youngest) Line = Jimin, V, JK
Also, Hyung (형) in Korean means “older brother” and is used by males to call other males as a symbol of respest. So, even if you have one year difference, you still need to call them "hyung". Or you will be considered as rude. Thats why JK always call Jimin Hyung eventhough they are in maknae line. (But sometimes JK does not call Jimin hyung because he likes to joke around😂😂😂)
It is a bit confused at first but after a while, you will get it. Its their culture. If you want to understand about this, you can watch their own variety show, RUN BTS, BTS in the Soop, and many more.
They tack -'ah' on the end of the name of the person younger than them or the same age. Jimin and V are 'chingus' which means friends as they were born in the same year and are close (soulmates). Just to add to the confusion girls call older sisters, 'unnie' and older brothers, 'oppa'. You'll hear the female fans calling the members of BTS, 'oppa', although strictly speaking they don't know them well enough and should be calling them, 'sunbaenim'. I think that's correct but I haven't been learning Korean long and it's complicated. Unfortunately I would be called, ' Halmoni' as a lady in her seventies. JK enjoys calling, Jimin, 'Jimin-ssi' which means, Mr Jimin. There's a video of him doing just that.

JIMIN has the shortest training period 6 months in KPOP history which is supposed to be 2yrs before debuting. Even so He became the lead singer and Main dancer of BTS. And yes he is the one you mistaken for WORLDWIDE HANDSOME but he is the cutest and handsome too. Once you JIM-IN you cant JIM-OUT.

RM learned how to speak English by watching the DVD's of the TV show Friends. First, he watched it with Korean subtitles. And then he watched it with English subtitles. Absolutely amazing that he could teach himself that way.
You were asking about the hate BTS gets… it’s not just people saying they don’t want to listen to their music. It’s people (usually men) being extremely homophobic, racist, etc. It’s often even public figures.
Also, members of BTS have been doing solo work since before debut. They have always been both solo and group artists, and that’s always been their plan. They aren’t breaking up and have repeatedly said that they want to stay together and perform until they are so old that they can’t even stand anymore 😂
Jimin has been described as beautiful and V as the most handsome, I think both descriptions are right. But really everyone of them are handsome.😊
The powder blue fit was so unexpected!! This was lots of fun to watch. RM was my first bias when I started learning about BTS, maybe because of his rapping, his leadership, and his fluency in English. But once I heard more songs, watched interviews and documentaries, it was really clear that SUGA was going to be the one for me. Jungkook is right behind him, and the others all wreck me regularly at one point or another. Each member is so unique and so essential that I can't imagine the group without him. I'm imagining your email is going to fill up with suggestions and spreadsheets (ARMY LOVES a spreadsheet with links) so fast. Thank you for taking the time to film and share! I hope you keep having fun and discovering more surprises along the way. I was captivated by the maknae line in the early years but as I grow older, I tend to lean towards the hyung line now, personality wise. Music? It depends on my mood, and they have every genre for every occasion 💜🫰

Maknae means the youngest, so the maknae line is the 3 youngest members (Jimin- 27, V- 27, and Jungkook- 25), Korean age used to be counted differently (it was actually just changed recently to international age) so when BTS mention their ages they were actually 1 or 2 years younger. So Jungkook was actually 13 when he moved away from home to join Bighit. No Jungkook didn't direct the music video for Seven.
V's debut solo album called Layover comes out September 8th, 2 music videos have already been released from the album called Love Me Again and Rainy Days.
Jimin is known to attract both men and women. There are actual video compilations of men questioning their sexuality when it comes to Jimin.
I would say most ARMY know the fanchant, and they have different fanchants for their songs too. Fanchants are common in kpop so it's not only BTS who has fanchants.
The amount of hate they get is unbelievable. I understand not everyone is going to like their music but when people resort to hating on them as people is ridiculous.
You should know, V's new song has been released, it's "love me again" and "rainy days" all songs with r&b nuances with V's distinctive baritone voice make listeners feel comfortable.. you have to react to V's new song.

V, Jimin and JK went to Suga's concert a while ago. And a few days ago, Jungkook and RM performed at the concert! Jin and J-hope had a break from military service and went to attend Suga's concert as well.
Suga and J-hope attended Jimin's live performances for his solo stuff, V attended Jungkook's Seven performance and even danced on stage with him for a while too! Jimin even attended J-hope's lollapalooza performance in america!
They're always so supportive of their solo careers and always have been. Even back then when the rappers were releasing their mixtapes . The members would always attend the MV shootings and bring food. V has been a cameo in both of J-hope's title track music videos!

alot of people dount that theyll reunite cuz of american boybands stereotypes but bts is different. each of their solo's theyve talked about how they cant wait to get back together. in todays live rm said "this is like a vacation until we're back home together in 2025"
So much has happened with BTS since this video was made. Yes all 7 members of BTS will have to serve in the military (it's mandatory for all able bodied men in South Korea) currently Jin and J-Hope are enlisted and they both will serve for 18 months (Jin will be discharged in June 2024 and J-Hope will discharged in October 2024). And recently Suga announced he will be the next member to enlist but no specific date has been given yet. They plan on reuniting in 2025 once all of them have completed their service. You have to keep in mind kpop groups and western boy bands are different. In the US solo artists are more popular but in South Korea groups are more popular and their groups usually have more longevity. But there have been western boy bands who have stayed together the Backstreet Boys for example are still going strong after 30 years together and all 5 members are married and have kids so it's possible. BTS has always done solo work but they are more focused on it now because they all can't perform and make music together because of their military service so they have more time now to dedicate to their solo work but they aren't seeking to be full fledged soloists separate from BTS. They love being a group and have stated numerous times they want to be BTS until they are old men. Also keep in mind plenty of ARMY are older fans well into their 60's and 70's so there shouldn't be this stereotype that their fans will outgrow them as we get older because their songs have longevity and speak to people of all ages and backgrounds.
None of the members are married or have kids. There is actually a lot of stigma surrounding dating in kpop almost to a point where if you are caught dating it's seen as a scandal if you are a kpop artist. Some kpop companies will have dating bans at least for the first 2 years after debut. As to whether BTS are dating no one knows as they will probably keep that information private especially if they are dating non- celebrities (there have been dating rumors but since none of them have publicly shared anything I'm not going to share speculation here). There have been a few instances of kpop artists only announcing their relationships when they have gotten engaged/married/expecting babies. I know most fans don't care if they are dating or not but a lot of Korean fans don't like it when their idols start dating and sometimes demand the member leave the group if they are in a relationship, but these are grown men and we shouldn't expect them to stay single forever.

There are also 2 documentaries on Disney Plus called J-Hope In the Box and Suga: Road To D-Day both about the creation of J-Hope's and Suga's albums. And Suga has been hosting a talk show called Suchwita where has interviewed numerous guests including every member of BTS except for V (hopefully an interview with him is coming soon before Suga enlists.

Ngl, while I think they absolutely deserve to be _offered_ exemption from service, I'm glad they're going as any other Korean men bc then they won't owe the government any favors.
The whole Busan concert barely managed to be salvaged by the time it began, and now, with the fiasco of the jamboree and the k-gov strong-arming some kpop grps into joining (including trying to guilt-trip BTS into performing with *2dys* before the event and having the audacity to be publicly disappointed _at BTS_ when they didn't), I hope BTS can stay away from the current administration and continue their careers without political interferences.

Also y’all attractiveness is subjective if you think jimin should be worldwide handsome it’s totally okay just make sure to never bash the other members. I personally think V is the most attractive member but that doesn’t mean all the other members are unattractive he just looks the best TO ME and that’s okay.
V is my bias and has been from day one. At first his voice stood out to me, then I got to learn about his personality and that was it. And yes, to me he’s the most stunningly beautiful person I’ve ever seen. He’s also the one topping multiple “most handsome” polls every year so I think globally he’s probably the most admired visual. Reaction to Singularity mv and Tokyo Dome live performance are a must if you like his style.

JK is the annoying younger brother that is talented and gifted at everything he does. JK is also the most sensitive and will often cry when overcome with emotion.
Yes. Everyone knows the chant, all the Army knows it. You guys will get there. Like when they were invited in 2017 at American Music Awards (AMA) and their first time to perform in an american award show performing DNA, the boys were so nervous and like majority army's were present and did the fanchant at during the intro to give their love and support so the boys won't be nervous and left out. If you check that out especially fancam you can hear it. Everytime they attend american awards show, it become like their concert. Looking back to those old memories makes me tear up and be proud to what they have achieved then and now.

This is phase 2 where they are all doing their own solo projects,
They all planned to go to the military by the end of this year so they can all be back in 2025. All the members talked about how they can't wait for 2025, and reassured army 1000 times that they will be back together. Jungkook could have waited 4 more years before enlisting, Jimin and V, 2 more years (30 is the age limit for bts to enlist).
All members have worked on solo projects before. Army is already used to each member doing their own thing and we support them through it all.
Jin was the first one to enlist and he made a beautiful song 'The astronaut' before leaving. He went to Argentina with Coldplay to perform with them on their tour. He will be the first one to be discharged from the military on June 2024, so I guess that's when he will release his album.
J-hope released his album 'Jack in the box' last year and headlined Lollapalooza in Chicago. He killed it. (You should definitely watch that performance, it was epic). He did 'On the street' with J cole too right before enlisting in the military.
Agust D aka Suga ended a very successful worldwide tour last sunday after the release of his 3rd solo album 'D-Day'. He will the next to enlist.
RM dropped his album 'Indigo' end of last year. He will be releasing a second album by the end of the year before enlisting.
Jimin released his first EP 'Face' and he is killing it. He got #1 on billboard hot 100 with his song 'Like Crazy' . He is cooking something too but haven't told Army what he is working on yet.
V's album 'LayoVer' will be out on September 8th. Meanwhile his two singles 'Love me again' and "Rainy days' were released on August 11th.
Jungkook took over the world with his single 'Seven' and is preparing for his album which will be out by November. He will drop a second single before though. He broke all the records with 'Seven' including #1 hot 100
And lastly, Army is very happy because we have a lot of content even though BTS is supposed to be on hiatus right now. As usual, we are supporting each member. We are looking forward to all the good content and we are saving up our coins for the 2025/2026 comeback tour.

The 'Fan chant' shown, is actually only one- we call it the role-call chant. It's used at the beginning of certain BTS songs/performances. Each song has its own fan-chant as well. The fan chants are put together by BTS and their team, then released and ARMY shares them. This way we can all cheer when they perform, or even if we can only watch their performances at home, we can still chant along. Some of us have watch parties so we say the chants then too. So no, not necessarily just at a concert.
If an ARMY doesn't know the fan chant, often at concerts and music shows, ARMY will help others in quickly learning them before the performance.
As others have mentioned we only know what information BTS provide about personal lives. They never say if they're dating, they used to respond with a 'no' or ''not right now, it's so hard to date' when they were asked by interviewers in the west(US and UK mostly). ARMY doesn't care about that stuff and if the guys wanted to share it, they would.
JK(Jungkook- Jung-guk) is the baby brother, yes. He joined the company when he was 13, debuted at 15 so yeah... the older members raised him in a sense. All of them refer to each other as brothers and family. They're close and they have told us their families are close too. Tae's(V's) mom once made all seven of them a snack before they headed out to film their staycation series called 'In The Soop' (Soop means forest.). If you get around to watching that, you'll see it as it's something they shared. And one member said how nice it was for his mom to make snacks for her seven sons lol. It's cute how close they are.
There are a few ARMY lists of things to watch. a list which includes a deep dive into the BU, which is the Bangtan Universe- a fictional storyline that's been running through various MV's, only certain MV's are devoted to BU, and they're marked as such in the description, it will say 'BU'. Then there's a list without the deep dive into the BU. So it depends on what you want to get into/how deep you want to dive.

You guys bring back the best memories. I raised 3 sons and there was only 3 and 1/2 years between them say 21, 20 and 18. Our house was the hangout for all their friends(and many stayed with us for time when getting sent to the curb by their parents) our house was used for weight lifting, driveway basketball, watching Boxing, basketball, football etc, always someone extra for dinner. Let me tell you the s#%t talking, doing the dozens, never ever stopped, but my boys and their friends shared a deep affection for each other. Thanks for bringing back those happy times. V was crowned the most handsome man in the world in 2021. We ARMY are more than fans, We are a community. It wasn't easy for us Army either, back then fans from other groups would look down on us and make fun of us too. That is why, BTS always works harder to the best of their abilities so ARMY can hold our heads high. The new ARMY has it more straightforward.Most of them knew BTS as the famous group they are known today. Nonetheless, We (Old ARMY ) thank you to the Baby ARMY/new ARMY / Reactors for your support. I was a mother of 3 when BTS debuted and now I'm a grandmother of 2. I am glad that there are new groups of supporters and fans to support BTS. Please please support all 7 because BTS is 7 not 1.

Even when they are in BTS they have been doing their own things as well for like forever. And I think that’s why they don’t feel restricted when in BTS. They are free to release solos but also comes together as a group. So each of them has their own individual artist identity. Whereas in western boybands, the members lose themselves in the group persona. This is where western boy bands did wrong. My understanding of western boyband is they always have that one person in the group who pgets all the spotlight and none of the members have the opportunity to express their craft and create solo things.
