WOW..I love Stephan's interpretation...very musical and inspiring...what a young and amazingly gifted musician...closing one's eyes.one wouldn't know his age...an old soul truly.thank you so much!
I can't explain what hearing this does to me; all one can say is all the cliché. But this genuinely made my heart flutter through to the end. Wow, beautiful.
Your playing is amazing, and so beautiful. The emotions expressed nearly brought tears to my eyes, but I couldn't help smiling throughout the entire performance. I hope to one day be able to play nearly as good as you. You've inspired me, I'll be practicing as hard as possible!
Wow. This literally had me tearing up a bit. This is one of my favorite Bach pieces, and you played it with so much heart. It was like you were just caressing the instrument. Bravo! Bravo!
In my opinion this is a virtuosic and mature interpretation of this piece. I really enjoyed hearing the results the musical decisions that you had to take, like arpeggiation. Awesome
i've watched ur videos from 10 and i think u have improved a lot, also grown up so much!!!! Good sensitive playing, I like ur tone, believe u have potential to go very far. God bless!!!
There's no denying that your technique is fantastic and is used very well in this piece. I'd have to say though, remember that this is a Baroque piece. How you play it almost sounds Romantic, and although the piece can sound Romantic at times, we still have to keep to the strict Baroque rules. I think your extended rubato needs to be toned down slightly as it does take away from the piece slightly. Apart from that, I think your rendition is fantastic. Well done!
@Mikka2007 Yes. I love Bach's music a lot. My favourite is Chaconne, but I enjoy more with my own interpretation of Bach. I feel this more if I play by MY rules :) Do you understand? For me ... isn't exist a method for playing Bach. This is an emotion, more than a violin technique or method. Thank you for comment. Greetings Stepan ^^
Saludos Stepan ^^
there is no flow anywhere in you playing!!! absolutely amazing. keep up the good practice and try to listen to your bow sounds more often. And i tell you something, play with your violin whenever you are board of other's music!!! believe me it helps ;)

I think it's really amazing. I know other recordings, and you play very intensely and naturally, and I can accept your interpretation. If the quality of sound would be better, it wolud be gorgeous. Probably it depend on bowing, but maybe sounds on a stradivari perfect... :D I wish you a lot of strength to practice! S.P.
@Velioz ES UNA DE LAS PIEZAS MAS DIFICIL COMPUESTA EN LA EPOCA PARA EL INSTRUMENTO SE DICE QUE BACH SE LA DEDICO A SU MUJER QUIEN FALLECIO EN SU AUSENCIA Y JAMAZ PUDO DESPEDIRSE DE ELLA.SI REALMENTE LA SIENTEN LAS MELODIAS SON EXPRESIVAMENTE PROFUNDAS ALGO ASI COMO MISTERIOSAS.UN GRAN COMPOSITOR.TE FELICITO GRYTSAY!!!
Good playing but make a note of not rushing the music especially this piece. I know the chaconne is lengthy and bother some but speeding up the tempo make the music sound harsh and dull. At 10:50 really shows the rushing. That section was played so fast that many of the chord their couldn't be heard because you didn't full play them out.
@Mikka2007 I don't like Shzering. I'd prefer Heifetz and Milstein. Shzering is boring for me ... this is my opinion. Thank you for comment. Greetings Stepan ^^
@Mikka2007 Hi. Thank you for comment. But I think if you can't play Bach freely ... more and more people doesn't like Bach. We don't live in 1700. Now exists other kind of music more popular and we needs to rescue the classical music and adapt it to the modern time. I know some people don't like my opinion, but I know: I'm free and I play freely, as I like. Greetings Stepan ^^ PD: As you say ... Bach must be SLOW and BORING? Please record your video and I'll see ... :)
YOU STILL NEED TO PRACTICE MORE..!!! Hemm, i hope one day you can play with Stradivari or Guarneri del Gesu violin, so it will help you to produce higher quality sound !!
awsome!!! but i have to say i like it with waaay less vibrato when it comes to bach, with all the romantic stuff use as much vibrato as you want hehe, but is very nice you definetly take the risk to use your own interpretation

You play with such fire. Would love to see another recording almost 10 years later and compare your interpretation :)
Passionate, swinging, massive, pathetic, gorgeous sound. One of my best favorite. You are worth to play an old rare italian.
Thanks for watching

Wow. This literally had me tearing up a bit. This is one of my favorite Bach pieces, and you played it with so much heart. It was like you were just caressing the instrument. Bravo! Bravo!
thank you for all these videos, thanks to you I have returned to practice with more inspiration and emotion..!!!
Captivating, sensitive and beautiful performance.
In my opinion this is a virtuosic and mature interpretation of this piece. I really enjoyed hearing the results the musical decisions that you had to take, like arpeggiation.
Awesome
Great work! Incredible technique at your age and I'm amazed. I believe one day you could be the best! Keep practicing and never quit!

Beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing! i wonder what's that at the end... Hope it's not your inner voice ;)
Thank you for your comment =)
Velioz you're welcome; i like the way you 'hit' the double notes and the feeling you put on the legato tender motives... very inspiring!
a punch in the faces of those that put dislike!
beautiful, you really have mastered it, but....oh i hate to say this but VIBRATO!!!!!!! IT'S BAROQUE!!!!!!! js. :)
YOU STILL NEED TO PRACTICE MORE..!!!
Hemm, i hope one day you can play with Stradivari or Guarneri del Gesu violin, so it will help you to produce higher quality sound !!
Is it bad of me that I enjoyed your performed more than I did Jascha Heifetz's? Oh well! :)
awsome!!! but i have to say i like it with waaay less vibrato when it comes to bach, with all the romantic stuff use as much vibrato as you want hehe, but is very nice you definetly take the risk to use your own interpretation
Thanks 4 writin xD
o si no es perfecto
