Miracle in 5th period

On the eighth day of classes in September, Wisdom Lane Middle School eighth-grader Jessica Lemus of Levittown suffered cardiac arrest during fifth-period science class, and her heart stopped for 7 minutes. Working as a team, her teachers used an AED and saved her life. Since then, Jessica has undergone surgery and been home-schooled while recuperating, and her teacher, Carole Going, whose class she was in while suffering the attack, has become a close family friend. I went to wisdom lane and graduated back in the mid 2000s and Mrs. Going has barely aged. Glad to see her and other teachers I recognize. After hearing this story it makes me miss wisdom lane that much more. The teachers really did care and it doesn’t surprise me the teachers and staff went the extra mile to make sure this young lady was ok. Bless her heart and everyone at wisdom lane.

I go to this school currently… I remember when this happened. I’m an 8th grader but i’ve failed 6 times and that’s how I remember this. Jessica was my bestfriend ❤️

3:05 that was my 2nd period classroom. Lol 3:07, I see you Dylan. That day was really scary. There were people running everywhere, a bunch of screams, the ambulance and the police rushing to the school. I was in workstudy, when this happened
