ohhh I personally love to see mixed aesthetics, especially when they're so different! cottagecore is all flowery, has all the colors you see in nature and that connection with plants and animals, while dark academia is represented by dark tones and the academic, centered lifestyle wich I think contrasts perfectly.. I was afraid that my enthusiasm and zeal for learning had been totally quashed, but it's flourishing again, for the first time in almost three years. Read up on (or watch content about) studies surrounding the 'secrets' of productivity, and information retention, and writing stamina, and you should find an educational path to suit your needs and aspirations. I fully agree that the education system is questionable at the best of times, and not nearly enough emphasis is placed on the importance of introspection, and of perusing the paths ahead that call out to the individual for reasons beyond potential income, or what one's parents did when put through the same process. Learning that almost everyone on the planet is, in fact, flying by the seat of their pants, is at first utterly terrifying to young people who grew up under the assumption that adults simply 'knew things'. I'm now personally at a stage where this notion brings me both terror and, paradoxically, immense comfort - We're all in this together, like it or lump it.
This makes me wanna go to an outside art museum with leaves growing on the walls in the morning when the sun is barley coming out and wearing a light brown coat while drinking coffee and wearing red lipstick
