This gave me insiration for a science / stem academia aesthetic. Read if you like. Open labcoats over wool vests, star charts painted on domed ceilings, brass microscopes, gathering field samples into small vials, telescopes in front of attic windows, memorizing formulas at 1 am, "magic is just scince we don't udnerstand yet", old world maps with flayed edges, discussing a new study you read, blackboards full of equations and graphs, carrying a leather field notebook in your pockets, messy cursive handwritten notes, coming up with your own whacky theories with friends, carved wooden library tables, friendly debates, fountain pens, spilled ink on white blouses, late night banter on leather couches by low coffee tables, excitedly exchanging astronomy facts, copper bobby pins, a small plate of strawberries and swiss cheese for a haphazard 6 a.m breakfast, black coffee in shot glasses, prism lightcatchers in front of tall windows, chalk powder fingerprints on black pants, lemonades made of lime and brown sugar, quoting laws of physics.
Never seen a lab coat worn over a wool anything, that I can remember. Office shirts, yes; smart casual shirts/blouses, once even a green spaghetti-strap dress.
Yeah absolutely, academia aesthetic isn’t just confined to the arts. I don’t know what it would look like as an aesthetic though, I would think a lot of Victorian inspiration perhaps?
I’m really happy to see more representation on this video! I noticed that the last one seemed to be aimed pretty much solely at girls (and all the models were white, skinny girls) and tbh my “faves from each category” comment on there is mostly just a list of the only androgynous/kinda masc ones I could find. This is a huge improvement, and I’m glad the video author took the time to address people’s responses and ameliorate any issues!
Classic, fairy, and pastel but I tend to wear more dark colors(dark blue, royal purple, and some light pink) and leather jackets and boots...love science, video games, reading, day dreaming, plants, nature, camping, exploring, leather journals, tarot cards, tea, coffee, figuring out how something works(machines), hiking, long walks, animals and frilly and dark clothes. But I also wear some masculine clothes with hints of bright colors.
Witchy, that’s it, that’s my academia aesthetic right there because even IRL my interests with the occult grows. To be a witch, you have to read a long regardless. My book of shadows is a growing binder.
I didnt realize I was more into dark witchy academia until hobbies popped up. I would spend hours in my nearest antique shop looking through old books and items reading and admiring the old or rough texture of the things. My favorite thing I found once was a fake book box it had a lock and everything the outer coat of the box felt like a real book with the line textures and everything I didnt have money on me but I wish I did I would've bought it.
tbh seeing the paint image in the beginning of the first video, I thought there'd be art in the first one but I'm glad its here. I just love that its got such a practical, comfortable, 'I don't have time to get an outfit together that takes an hour I'm just going to wake up and throw something on for the studio' vibe and its so me.

I love all of your videos but I'm crying because every time I think I found my aesthetic there comes another one that really represents me and that I really like!
As I'm going through these, I'm defining myself. I can see aspects of me in all types but lean more towards Romantic, Light Witchy, Fairy, Art with recognised Dark and Pastel balances. As the clothing styles are similar it's creating an interesting effect for my style. Plus I'm finally getting a sense of me. Doesn't look like I'll be floating anymore with my personality. I think the disconnect I've felt for years is finally disappearing. Looks like the 2020s is the decade to finally sort ourselves out.
I'm an art academic but my art is fiber arts. I have five spinning wheels, dozens of drop spindle, knitting needles, a lovely loom in my library. I knit lace curtains, large shawls, wool socks, over sized sweaters, cowls, fingerless gloves, etc. I wear a necklace that is a yarn cutter. I have heaps of books on vintage cross stitch and needlepoint of botanicals that I put on tea towels for the kitchen and sew skirts that I embroider little kittens and such on. Handmade quilts are on every bed.
ok, i know i said this in part one, but i have to say it again; i am for sure a mix of all these aesthetics! all of the academia aesthetics in both parts 1 and 2 describe me perfectly! i love these videos so much!

Witchy academia in general and Art Academia :D Love your videos so much they’re so relaxing ❤️ I think finding your aesthetic is a good way to get to know yourself and love that
I’m going to once agin write in the comments my views on each one and how it relates to me :) Dark witch: I am a big person for witchcraft and also very much love dark academia. The spell and potions etc is stuff I love. I would love to live in isolation. If I had the choice of staying in a locked room reading or going out I would chose the earlier. I also find stuff such as the darkness and moon beautiful. I am not one for dark lipsticks though and any makeup, I have a love for anything supernatural. The red wine also sounds amazing but maybe cause I’m secretly going to become a alcoholic to deal with life. The outfits are nice but I just don’t like that it’s mainly short tuff such as dress and skirts. I prefer baggy items. But I really like the clothing aesthetic. I feel this could be my one. Light witch: I am way more dark and gloomy. The light already puts me off of it, I do enjoy the flare trousers, glass s, old books and antiques. The reading, spells etc all interest me as it did for dark witch the fashion is too light and ethereal. It’s nice but is not my style at all. I would feel uncomfortable it’s too light. I don’t think this is my aesthetic Fairy: I already like the sound of mischievous and adventurous. I am a very sarcastic person and I don’t focus too much on trying to make others laugh. I am not social enough or nice enough to care to make others laugh. People annoy me too much. I only like the sound of knitting from the ideas of fairy. The cooking and baking is very much me. I enjoy that and the doodling on notes. I enjoy fairies and pixels, fables etc but make up and being a plant parent is not for me. The fashion is okay. I like the browns and jumpers. Even some of the dresses. I think they are nice. Overall I think this is a little bit me for the adventure and sarcasm, the fairies and pixels too Pastel: if you can’t tell I’m not a light person. The colours are not for me. The romantic parts sound ok but not appealing. I don’t find happiness in much besides good tv shows and a lot of books. I like the colour organisation and I am slightly obsessed with baths but late nigh midnight baths preferably. I am not a hopeless romantic, I am realistic that most romance dies, I’m a curious person by nature thought. The fashion sounds appealing but only in dark colours would I like it more. Sometimes white can work nice but not in a ethereal way. I don’t mind the cool yellow or khaki green. This is not for. E Art: I am no good at art but I have always found it beautiful. I am creative but in writing. I enjoy beautiful architecture and sculptures. The painting and sketching is something I enjoy but I am horrible at. I scribble on paper to keep my mind from running and I enjoy looking at art yet I can never fully appreciate the beauty. The fashion of it is very appealing. The baggy clothes and the colour would b nicer if they were darker but with how th outfits are the colours can work Sometime light clothes are nice. I think this is. Little bit my aesthetic but not fully. Overall my aesthetic is dark witchy and. Little splash of fairy and maybe a hint of art
Girl I LOVE you for not only using white women, white women are beautiful but I like to see what these styles will look like on people like me as well!
Every academia looks so beautiful and I want to do some but then I realize that perhaps I can do nothing. I have no sense of style so everything I decorate would look awful and this is not practical as well. If I try to wear any academia clothes I will look ugly for myself :'(
Now that I'm watching this video I really like the witchy one. I've always been fascinated by that stuff, I just never thought there was a name for it. Ever since I watched AHS: Coven when I was like 6 years old with my mom, I've been fascinated by the idea of the supernatural, voodoo, and witchcraft. I've even wanted to understand the thought process and stuff behind Satanism and stuff. I'm not religious at all and I'm actually terrified/slightly traumatized by demons and stuff (I may or may not have seen what I imagine a demon would look like when I was 5. I don't know if it was real or not but it felt terrifying and makes me panic and cry when I think or talk about it too much). I've just always wanted to learn more about it. I love the concept of witchcraft and all those things. I think this one or just dark academia really suits me.
Gemini with a Cancer push and a child of Mercury. I too am drawn to it all but have settled comfortably in a few. My Light Witchy and Fairy is based on a Romantic Art temperament that is balanced by Dark and Pastel. I love it :)
I’m 15 and I’m a soft tomboy. I love black and death intrigues me, but i have a soft and optimistic heart. I’ve never had any sort of style tbh, so I wanna find an aesthetic that calls to me and implement it into my life. I seriously love so many, but since I’m a robot, a lot are either too girly or trendy for me lol. Plus I’m indecisive. So I’m going to keep doing some research!
that’s cool but don’t let what’s “trendy” stop you from getting what you want just because you have a not like other girls complex. be free of that, i know it’s hard and we’ve all done it but cmon, it’s nice out here.
Goodness, I’m sure you didn’t mean to be racist, elitist, or exclude any group, but I applaud you for doing the right thing, brava. The whole problem is not that we mean to be like that, but we, unthinkingly, still are like that. If we are ever to purge our societies from these evils, every individual needs to critically examine their own thinking, ideas and beliefs, and try to improve. I know that I have a deeply-rooted snobbism, mostly about educational status, learned in childhood. I sincerely try to eliminate this from my psyche, but that’s just the first step. Many of us have long-since corrected our outward behavior, but we still need to learn to think more fairly, sensitively, lovingly and less-critically of others in general. Ethno-centrism is to a certain extent an inborn human characteristic, but we live in a global society, not in small, homogenous villages where identifying outsiders was more understandable, as it could be an element of judging risk.
I honestly don't know which one I am because I feel there is a piece of me in each, which I l suppose is cool because that means I can cross the boundaries and evolve my personality to be a cool mixture.
i just binged so many of ur vids you are so talented this channel has absolutely become one of my favs thank you so much for the wonderful content and also i think i connect with all of these aesthetics in some way

Overall my aesthetic is dark witchy and. Little splash of fairy and maybe a hint of art
*when it describes you better than you could describe yourself*
I’m a mix of fairy, pastel, and art academia 💗💗💗 thank you SO much for sharing all of these 💗💗💗
i see beth Harmon, i click
Girl I LOVE you for not only using white women, white women are beautiful but I like to see what these styles will look like on people like me as well!
I was just watching the 1st one and your pinterest!
Great job!
Every academia looks so beautiful and I want to do some but then I realize that perhaps I can do nothing. I have no sense of style so everything I decorate would look awful and this is not practical as well. If I try to wear any academia clothes I will look ugly for myself :'(
After watching both videos, I think it's safe to say that I am IN LOVE with every subgenre of academia.
Your edition is amazing and beautiful omg
Im fairy, light, and pastel i guess.....plus mixed in with more aesthetics...this is why everyone is their own unique style and personality 🌼
pls, this whole video is my academia aesthetic type
It’s giving me very much dark witchy art academia 🖤 thank you for making these.
I loved your first video but this one even more! Thank you for including many types of diversity (a diverse range of diversity? Haha)
I've come to the conclusion that I love all of them.Being A Gemini moon makes me want to embrace all of them as mine.
@Caitlin Reddy Ayyy another geminj🎉
Same over hereeee geminiii squadd
@@nourhaitham6434 I just saw this now . BUT YEESSS Another Gemini🎉ayyy
Gemini Squad🦋
Gemini with a Cancer push and a child of Mercury. I too am drawn to it all but have settled comfortably in a few. My Light Witchy and Fairy is based on a Romantic Art temperament that is balanced by Dark and Pastel. I love it :)
My aesthetic is this whole video. Though I must say, this is the best aesthetics video I have seen. Loved it.
Witchcore for lifestyle & personality. A practicing Celtic/Nocturnal Witch. And a combination of academia & cottagecore for aesthetic. 🌛🌝🌜
Well, this has definitely opened my eyes. I never now i was naturally a hardcore fairy academia until now. Thank you💜☺
I’m 15 and I’m a soft tomboy. So I’m going to keep doing some research!
that’s cool but don’t let what’s “trendy” stop you from getting what you want just because you have a not like other girls complex. be free of that, i know it’s hard and we’ve all done it but cmon, it’s nice out here.
...Like a robot-robot? Or is that code for something else?
Create your own, dude
Why am i the only one up watching this
Light witchy is better
Your videos are so wellmade and just... beautiful
Admire the beauty of this video and all the beauty it shows. I love that it includes all body types, this is art, friends, appreciate it.
♥♥♥
these are so pretty.Cant choose lmao
I honestly don't know which one I am because I feel there is a piece of me in each, which I l suppose is cool because that means I can cross the boundaries and evolve my personality to be a cool mixture.
when fairy academia popped up i was screaming
“THAT’S ME!”
