There's a gas station food service chain in the PA area called Sheetz. literally same concept but you can order ANYTHING. from mac n cheese bites to hot dogs to chicken sandwiches to wraps. it's an American blessing.

Here in Amarillo,TX we were a test market for the CYT burger. I was surprised at how good they are. Here, we are only charged extra if we added an extra patty or bacon. My meal was half the price as yours and I got a double.
build your own are sort of not the usual mcdonalds quality, which is why they'll ultimately start loosing money at it, cus it tastes better being more expensive taking longer time.

Loving the concept though, because you can add all kinds of extra's that you like... extra patties... extra cheese... extra sauce. One extra step they should add, is being allowed to place things within the sandwich the way you want it. For example I would want the lettuce under the burger as its pictured on the kiosk, but then yours came with it on top of the burger.
$15 for a burger, fries and a drink...no thank you. What a ridiculous price. Popeye's will always be my go-to fast food place, $10 for 5 chicken breast tenders, fries, a buttermilk biscuit, and a drink. Fills me up for more than 5 hours.

I had the same idea, years ago. I'm an inventor/engineer at heart. Build one with wood, screws, nuts, etc. But the tray you used look way easier to clean and lighter. So I gonna order one too. Thx for the link...

While I can appreciate them wanting to get into the gourmet burger business, at that price point, they are really competing with custom tavern burgers. I know that at the price, I've had buffalo beef, locally sourced fancy cheeses and bacon, etc and other awesome toppings, side items.. and no playground with screaming kids in the background. I think McDonald's knows it's losing profit share to more niche competition and this is a first attempt to stop the bleeding.

Our fast food places in the U.K. are rubbish compare to America and Canada. You guys seem to have all the really wacky crazy meals and we only get the boring ones.
We got this in Australia quite some time ago. The buns are different. Cheeses are different. We also have an option for chicken that they only recently added. The price is actually about the same 13$ for s regular and 15$ for a large. So interesting how it's different but similar it is. Great to watch for my first video of yours :)
There's one not far from where I live in Saudi Arabia, but the one time I went to that branch, they were sold out so I just got a normal McDonald's meal. I might go there with my friend one day
Hi Ken, Those burgers you can create on there are without a doubt delicious.. I'm not sure if you can order this in CA or the US, but you should try the Kiwi Burger, its basically a beef patty, griddle egg, beetroot, tomato, lettuce, cheese, onions, mustard, and ketchup on a toasted bun. It's decently popular over here in New Zealand, If you manage to get it, I hope you enjoy it.
Hey KBD, not sure if you read your comments but I gotta let you know... I know you tried Burger's Priest already but if you go to their website and answer a quick question you get access to their secret menu and they have Burger's you will never find anywhere else. You really have to try one!
I remember the McDLT. It was one of their first Whopper ripoffs. McDonald's was a lot better tasting back then than it is now & the fries were cooked in 99% beef tallow. The best McD's burger I ever had was the McCheddar - QP with salty nacho cheddar cheese, caramelized onions on a rye bun. It was around sporadically in the late 1980s to the mid-1990s.
I feel like an idiot, but I just spent 2 hours trying to find the first video where you had the steering wheel table thingy. Its been on my Amazon wish list for a while, after seeing it on your channel.
We have these machines in our MacDonald's for over 12 months now..I haven't used it myself..my kids say I would be to slow using it lol..😊 Great review..👍👍's up from me..

Hey Ken, I think you can add extra patties by pressing the plus signs at the top of your ingredient. You can do that with any other ingredients.
