Eu ouvi um TRECHO dessa música uma ÚNICA VEZ, em 2001... há 23 ANOS atrás numa propaganda da minissérie Os Maias e procurei em todos os lugares... comprei o CD da minissérie, mas não tinha essa música... fui em lojas de CDs, NINGUÉM conhecia, não achava em lugar NENHUM, mas eu nunca esqueci... e hoje com ajuda do Google, cantarolando o trechinho, finalmente achei essa maravilha!!! 🙏🏻

I love this video. I am far away from being an expert - maybe someone with more experience in such kind of music can explain me the following:
The lyrics are not very long and in my ears they are repeated 100%. So why do the singers need a book? Is it so complicate due to a different language, do these excellent professionals really need the notes or do they need to have anything in their hands that looks professional not to show that some might be very excited?
My expectation would be that the rehearsals should be enough to learn it.
I only want to understand this, it’s no criticism at all of these amazing musicians.
