I believe that the scheme that the Lions run fits him better and the strong offense line with plenty of weapons surely helps. I do also believe Mcvay could have been more patient with Goff. Obviously the Rams won the Super Bowl with Stafford but it would have been interesting to see where the Rams would be today if they stayed with Goff.
I like Goff, wish him the best. He was regressing his last couple of seasons on the Rams. He has himself to blame, he's a grown @ss man. For him to not even acknowledge his role, and to blame the Rams is lame. The proof is in the pudding, as soon as he left and Stafford came here, Rams got a ring. He's been successful because of his O Line, now and then when he's pressured, you see the Goff us fans saw his last year in L.A..
I don’t think the Rams felt he sucked but they just felt he wasn’t good enough to win them a Superbowl, hind sight is 20/20 , Goff went to the right team but the real reason Goff is playing great is because of Brad Holmes who the Lions hired as their GM, he’s the one that put their roster together and now Goff is playing behind probably the best offensive line in football and they have major offensive weapons in Gibbs and Montgomery, St Brown and Williams, and LaPorta , he hardly ever gets pressured and when teams get pressure on him he becomes the quarterback the Rams had 😆😝
Once the lions have to pay their oline and other pieces and he actually has to win games with his arm instead of above average run game to bail him out he will turn into the 2019 and 2020 Jared Goff we seen 2021 what he did before they got all the picks that’s what he will be once it time to pay everyone just like it was time in LA
Blaming the Rams lol making himself sound like the victim ironic how he forgot he was also responsible for the dismal 2019-2020 seasons he was lazy, got comfortable with his extension and didn't see eye to eye with McVay. Coach McVay made the executive decision to trade Goff to Lions for Stafford and won the SB his first year with Rams, while Goff benefiting with playing around multiple 1st rounders on that Lions team that 10-1 record don't mean shit! it's the *PLAYOFFS* where Goff will need to show he doesn't *SUCK*. period.
You lost me at Jared Goff is why the Lions are now good. Goff was made good by strong teams around him, both with the Rams and the Lions. Goff is made to look good by the great teams he's played on, not the other way around.

😂😂😂😂
The lions have a strong offensive line. The lions have a strong running game if they didn’t Jared Goff wouldn’t be very good..
That’s nice. Anyway… 11-1! 😂😂
That makes no real sense. Goff was always good, saying "but if he didn't have a line" he beat Mahomes in a shot out. Get over it
i thought they did him dirty i love he is proving everyone wrong !! i am a rams fan but goff did it for the little guy!!

He’s statically the best quarterback in the league against pressure. You’re repeating a talking point that holds no water. 🤷♀️
Our offensive problem is mcvay pass happy and our line sucks on third down . And the play call is alway deep on a short play
Goff is a ok QB playing behind a great offensive line

You mean like they already have? 😂😂
I got his jersey and still have it but he is still the same qb with a line and protected he is a mvp but once he gets hit he is bad .

Boy you’re bitter. Good luck with rebuilding for the next ten years. 😂😂

Goff hater lol, stafford played on the lions for years and never did this
