i can draw alright if i start with pencil and use construction lines but since i started watching these streams ive been trying to just start with the pen. its a whole different world. its like riding a motorcycle without a helmet. i have found a new level of respect for KJG. being able to visualize so much detail before you put pen to paper is amazing. terada and many other great artists are the same way. i think it would take me YEARS of practicing without construction just to get up to my own skill level with it, let alone anywhere near the level of these guys.
