      You're looking too deep into this 😂 there is equal distance between all of them and they are just doing a serious face, like they did in the old days. It's a style. Don't try to read things that aren't actually there.

    You can see the years the parents struggled and the years they were the closest. It's so upsetting once they're all standing apart and very serious faces. Once technology took over in the early 2000's and the cost of everything spiked, while the housing market crashed.. Things have never been the same. It's been misery due to sacrifice for comfort and basic needs. The American Dream died a long time ago 😢

    • @llama3856
      @llama3856 5 месяцев назад

      I'd go back to the 2000s anyday compared to now. 😢
      The 2000s were nowhere near as bad as the shitstorm we're all living in right now, called the 2020s - a global pandemic, war after war after war with no end in sight and the now high possibility of a Third World War, cost of living crisis, endless protests, and economic recession/depression that is far worse than it ever was back in the 2000s.
      At least back in the noughties you had breaks within the decade where things were running fine and smooth. Ever since 2020, it's literally just been a case of 'what other bad thing is gonna happen now.'
      I think a lot of it boils down to media misrepresentation. The 1990s gets all the glamour and is always rose-tinted when in fact, just like its brother decade the 2000s, had its fair share of doom and gloom... If you were an eastern European during this time (especially earlier in the decade) life was definitely not easy with raging wars in the Balkans, and that's just one example... Also the First Gulf War occurred, driving fuel prices up and having an effect on the economy.
      My point is that the 2000s gets a lot of bad rep (especially in America mostly because of 9/11 and Iraq/Afghanistan) but looking beyond what the media showed at the time and if you were elsewhere, things were not bad.

    I remember one day, when i was 23, my dad started being so different. He wouldn't joke with me or tickle me like he used to. He got so distant from me yet never told me anything vocally despite me asking him like 1000 times.
    I felt it so much. I cried for two days straight. That day i learnt that we grow old and we change. We can never stay the same.
    My dad was very a playful, happy, jolly person.
    He started being a little bit playful again after few days. But still, my dad whom knew since i was a kid never came back.
    (You may wonder that i did something that might have hurt him, i am a very alone and introverted person, my family is all i know, i never had any boyfriends or anything and me and my dad never argued over anything)

      I had no support. It was so hard. I tried my best but failed that year. My relationship with my father was completly broken.

    It is strange how easy it is to feel the mom in the photos. Dad and son seem to have their own space almost. Mom has this beautiful quirky personality you can tell by what she is wearing oh those shoes. She needs a hug though you can see that too. She maybe gives to much of herself making sure everyone else is happy. Now that her son is grown I hope she takes some time for herself she looks like she deserves it. Dad too, kids are rough and I swear just getting them to the stage where they can dress themselves and hold down a job is a huge accomplishment.

    It is wild how fast 25 years go by. For me it is so scary. They look sad. I wonder what they think when they look at these.
    Dear young ppl (anyone under 40) PLEEZ when you grow old your memories are all that matters. Make them count! Family is so important. I wish I knew how to get past the gloom and doomed feeling from getting old. Its shitty to be feeling like that.

    The mom looks so sad, I hope my parents are still kind of happy when I grow up.
