I have been watching Rani Rashmoni without fail. Of late, I am feeling the need for changing Ditipriya as she is not in a position the enact the bold Rani Rashmoni, as she was. On the contrary, on the slightest pretext she starts crying which was not the character of Rani Rashmoni. Moreover, by just wrapping a shawl does gives her the stature of Rani Rashmoni. Just see for yourself how the character has been enacted in Maa Janoni Saroda in Akash Aath by Rani Rashmoni. She is so graceful and presentable that you feel as if she is the real Rani Rashmoni. With her teen look, Ditipriya is not able to do justice with the role. Her weeping at the slightest pretext irritates the audience and this is the feedback I have got while discussing among my friend circle in Chittaranjan Park, a Bengali Colony in New Delhi. Everyone carries this view -- je Rani ke manache na ai role. She cannot act authoratively as is expected in depicting Rani Rashmoni. By weeping on slightest pretext she is trying to win over the hearts of general public, which won't be accepted. If you put present Paddo to enact Rani Rasmoni, I feel she wd do better than Ditipriya. Please, please change Ditipriya and put some mature, little aged woman who could depict true reflection of Rani Rashmoni who never used to weep like this on every issue. She was a towering character who faced the Britishers with her hard and stubborn character. So please leave Ditipriya as your TRP has started sliding down with this emotional heroine who starts weeping on practically each episode.
