    Question, when do I attempt past papers? Do I attempt it once Im confident in my knowledge? What if I stumble onto a question im unsure of?
    Also how accurate does my AO3 have to be? Ive heard knowing the percentages is important and different things 🤔

    • @PsychBoost
      @PsychBoost  4 месяца назад +3

      Its never too early to do past papers, you can learn from doing them by figuring out what you left our from the markscheme, you can always try the question again. I mean be as accurate as you can, but a percentage thats a little off isnt much of an issue. Its more how are you using that percentage to answer the question asked.

    • @yagmurxx869
      @yagmurxx869 4 месяца назад +12

      hi there, A* student here.
      what works for me is consolidating my knowledge FIRST before attempting any questions. if you attempt questions before understanding a topic, you will struggle to understand your mistakes. after thorough understanding, do topic questions. anything you forget go over it again and again until it sticks in your mind. also,, try to sticking to the same resources that you learnt from, so that your exposed to the same exact content again- this will just help u retain the info better.
      hope this helped!!

    sir tell me one thing.. if one person go through all playlist of psychology on RUclips channel... will he able to score A grade or else he also require more?
    if more then tell me the way and resource in which all book content and A grade must ensured
    waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting

    • @PsychBoost
      @PsychBoost  4 месяца назад +17

      My videos provide sufficient knowledge to get an A*; however, a student getting an A* is more than remembering knowledge; you need to understand the content so you can adapt that knowledge depending on the question, you also need to express yourself in such a way as to indicate you understand what it is you are writing about.
      Thanks for waiting waiting waiting waiting waiting. However, you should know writing that in your comment comes across as rude. I am busy producing resources for everyone; I answer questions in comments as a courtesy, I'm not your paid servant, and even if I were, I wouldn't put up with that.
      Please reflect on your communication style.

      @@PsychBoost Sorry sir didn't mean that... ok sir i was just asking that these lectures cover all syllabus content of A level psychology?
      I mean that if i totally grasp these videos.. and after that revise only paper attempting techniques and questions.. would it be enough?

    • @PsychBoost
      @PsychBoost  4 месяца назад +7

      @@tahiraziz9168 No problem, apology accepted.
      Yes, they do cover sufficient content. I include more content in these videos than I do in my actual classes and plenty of my own students get A*'s.
      And yes, keep in mind its as much about skill as knowledge, as much as you are revising content, practice skills, (writing past papers to time and checking the mark scheme ext).
      Getting an A is about performing as well the top 20% of students, keep in mind many other students want an A too and have been preparing for two years, so you need to dedicate sufficient time to perform as well as them. Fortunately, there is still a month to go, so with focus, you can really make a difference.
      Good luck!

    Hi i have a qs,
    When writing 16 mark essays, do we get marks if some of our AO3 points is put in our AO1 paragraph? 😅 I realised when marking my papers that some of my AO3 points are in my AO1 paragraph so idk if i should give myself marks for those (idk if this makes sense) 🥲

    • @PsychBoost
      @PsychBoost  4 месяца назад +5

      You should still be credited, but honestly, the structure of A01 first and then A03 is just easier for the examiner to process. If you make their job easier and write things in the order they expect, it's less likely they will forget about something you wrote. Do individual paragraphs for each evaluation and clearly signpost that they are evaluations.
