Weird watching this as I camped there last night! You must have come down a few hours before I went up. Similar conditions and I’ve rarely seen stars like it. Incredible. Lovely drone footage.
Ah I realise you said you set off at 7am and it was pretty sunny by then so I guess you filmed this a short while ago, when the sun was up earlier, rather than this weekend? Nonetheless very odd to watch what I just did the moment after getting home from it!
Cracking climb and a perfect short day out or mini-adventure.. lovely pitch and with friendly neighbours too . Looks like another couple of nice days/nights again 😉
Nice big wrap. Needed some mackerel in it tho. 🌯🐟 A fine overnighter Jim. Good wee spot. Hard to believe I walked over that lochan back in Jan. Frozen solid. Loving the drone footage. Hills are starting to turn their autumnal colour.
I mean the fact that you’re in pain and are still doing the different shots is incredible. You’re loyal to your fan base for sure. Thanks again as always for the adventure.
@@BoredManOutdoors getting there buddy thanks for asking, think I’m ready for a wild camp and hike again so the old noggin is adapting to that fateful trip
That was really good Jim. Pleased you got a decent summit camp. It's a great mountain. I will always remember Meall Nan Tarmachan because it was my dog's first ever munro.
Fabulous walk with breath taking scenery the sunset and night sky wow, was wonderful......super camping spot Like the commentary. Great video. Nearly 18 years since we moved away from the West Coast of Scotland with most weekends spent in the hills and glens and there isn't many days go by that I don't still miss it..... But I'm well situated for Lakes, Yorkshire Dale's and Moors and occasional forays back up to Scotland for a hike and camp. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic Jim - what a great trip and the shots you got were amazing :) I did a camp on the other side of the hill with the dog a few months ago the back and absolutely loved it :) such a great hill. Great video / catch up soon M
Thank you as always big dude.. and thank you for the lovely message.. I'm just about getting my climbing legs back noo... a bit of a cycling softy.. 😉.. Going for a meander up Arthur tomorrow... Just for fun... bought me a DJI neo which I'm aching to play with... Cheers Murray - Jim 👍
Evening Jim, beautiful scenery, I hiked that ridge 3 years ago and it was a day just like yours. Although I did it the opposite way and there wasn’t even a breeze. 😊
Very Very nice indeed... I've yet to do Arran in dry weather... Or so it seems 😊.. I do plan to get over again very soon though.. for a couple of days... Good company, a little climbing.. oh and maybe a few beers 🍻🍻
Great views from the top and cool looking shot of your shadows as you were descending one of the tops. I was getting some lord of the rings vibes from the top.
Bleedin' 'eck Jim! The views! LOOK AT THE VIEWS! Ahem, sorry, got carried away there.. But Wow. Absolutely stunning. And you showed them off beautifully.
