Excellent discussion by three of my favorite photographers. I wasn't able to attend the live session so thank you very much for making this recording! Very informative and inspiring.
Only because having been a film shooter for so many years, I always associated 4x5 with the likes of Ansel. It has a certain feeling about it. And this is a common way for me to choose my crops. Does it feel right? I don't limit myself to a specific ratio. Rather I like to make it what feels right.
Merci beaucoup pour ce délicieux moment ...vraiment merci...à bientôt, j'espère !
You're welcome!

I am so glad that you enjoyed this session, Paul. It was a lot of fun, and I always feel inspired after hearing John and Cole speak.

Cole is my new hero! Love his thinking.
Great fun, missed the original broadcast, but great to catch up with the recording. Really liked the before and after images from the panel.

John, why 4x5 for fine art? How did you decide on that aspect ratio?
