Hey, I remember seeing this old game show when I was little--"Illinois Instant Riches", and I do believe it was on the ol' WGN Channel 9, which was right here in Chicago! Yes, it was!
The losing horn used in Double Dollars was also used on Classic Concentration which aired on NBC from 1987 to 1991 when a contestant lost the bonus round when they played for a car.
I also found out that the same losing horn was also used on Now You See It which aired on CBS from April to July 1989 when a contestant lost the Solo Game.
I thought Rudy was going to be champ forever, man always seemed to be a step of the challenger. Well then Daryl changed all that. WELL DONE SIR!!
Wow, it sure brings back good memories, doesn't it?
I love this lottery show, amd Darrel did such a great job too! Plus I love Linda Kollmeyer too.

Several sound effects from The Price is Right were used on this program.
Including the pathfinder bell. And also the bells from the big wheel.
It was a Mark Goodson Productions show, so there's the connection.
Was this the last new game show to used MG's logo?
I think it was either Bonus Bonanza (MA) or Flamingo Fortune (FL), actually.
Shake that pole Darrel!!!
