I had grew up on that hair conditioner!! Yes it works great on your wigs and hair itself!! I'm from Barra in Brazil and that's a popular brand and also try skala too!! I if you live near a Brazilian Grocery they will have it,, that's where I get mine or my Aunt sends mine from Brazil 🤎

I’m so glad I found this video I’m definitely going to get the silicone mix today cause mannn my babies need it lol and question can you blow dry the wig as well ? Or air dry only ? Because I do have human hair wigs
I air dried just because of the kind of grade of hair it was its decent but it wasn't the best grade so I played it safe by air drying it because I had already put heat and chemicals on it. Blow drying shouldn't hurt. That was the first time I boiled hair from that vendor
After watching this ima have to go buy a wig lol and have someone put it on for me. This will be my first time wearing one

Absolutely the hair I has was straight but it's has been sitting for so long it looks a crazy lol you should be fine ! As long as it's human hair
I have a question I want to do this and dye the hair which would you suggest I do first, dying it or reviving it? Btw love your videos 💓
I say revive then dye not all in the same day it depends what kind of grade the hair is. Boiling bleaching and dying could be harsh on bad grades of hair and too much wear and tear on the closure/frontal & Thanks !! 💗💗I'll keep the content coming !

If it's human hair it should definitely work make sure you are using sulfate free products to prevent shedding !! 💗

No , but there are products that can be used for synthetic wigs to detangle add shine and restore. Which should be located at a local beauty supply or Amazon.

I did not wash mine first because shampoo has just been making it mat up. I put mine directly in the hot water. I will drop by abd let you know how it went.

do you worry about conditioner being applied to the lace part of your wig, maybe making the knots slippery and having hair loss as a result? I would really love to know what you think or have experienced with your wigs and if you lose hair from the lace front after having applied conditioner to that area.........I have a lace front hand tied wig cap and this is what I'm told could be a problem...Thank you so much for your help!!

In case I want to condition my hair do I do that before the silicone mix or after?
@@allurebymassy the silicone mix acts as a conditioner as well so that won't be necessary for the human hair unit.
Does this work for synthetic lace front wigs that are light colored and curly to?
I wouldn't try this method for synthetic wig. there are products separate from silicone mix that will work for detangling & washing synthetic hair.

Thanks ! I would not recommend you use this on your natural hair because silicon mix has alcohol, chloride an acids. If you'd like to restore your natural hair I would suggest more natural remedies. Some people use it on their hair but personally I wouldn't recommend. I hope this was helpful & thanks for subscribing 😊

Does it works on a 1 month old human hair wig that is tangling badly. The hair looks fine and healty but it is tangling a lot. Dont want to throw it away..please help!!
Wet the hair , and comb the bottom of the hair and make your way up and then separate the tracks I have a video on detangling hair as well. 😊it's for deep wave but the technique is the same for any body hair texture. I hope this helps please subscribe I'll be uploading more hair content soon !
Can i use it on a burgundy wig that was once black ?
Because of the heat and chemicals you could expect to lose some color especially if it's a semi permanent dye but it shouldn't damage the hair too bad if it's 8A grade hair or better

Does the water have to be a boil? Can i use hot water on the ends only because thats where its best needed instead of the whole cap and hair?
I use warm water to co wash some of my wigs if I don't want to go through the boiling process & usually when it comes to wigs it should be restored as a whole instead of one special part. (Only if it's human hair)
Please can I use keratin if I don’t have silicone ?
Hey I've never tried keratin on my wigs it's better safe than sorry id have to to give that try also if you have already done it lmk how it goes I'm curious. 🤔
Can u do this method with a sew in?
For a sew in if you're reusing tracks this should work as long as it's human hair 💗. It would be difficult to do it with the hair already sewn in how ever they do have silicon mix shampoo but I have yet to try it on any of my sew ins so I wouldn't know for sure how it'll take effect.

Does silicon mix help if your bundles are tangling easy ? I recently just brought some hair and I think it’s a bad batch cuz it keep l’s tangling especially the ends 😫
I recommend untangling the hair while it's damp so after you wash it ; If you add heat and chemicals to tangled hair it won't go well. Untangle and then condition
Hi! Can this be done on blonde wig 27/613?
It depends on the grade of the hair some I wouldn't attempt this on low quality 613 , it will tangle & create a lot of breakage and split ends. But if it's good hair you should fine with hot water but not boiling scotching hot.
can this work with deep wave curly wig?

what if it’s a colored wig ? cause hot water will make the color come out more could i just apply the silicone to the wig and let it sit and rinse out with cold water?
It's depends if the hair is dyed with semi-permanent dye or not. As for the restoring process I find that the hot water has a bigger impact on restoring the hair than cold water does. I would recommend risking the hair color so that the body of hair could at least be suitable for you to wear. OR you could wash the color out first and began the restoring process
(If semi permanent ). Try to take a strand of hair and see what the process is before trying ANYTHING !

You used a nice pot, you should use an old one or buy one from the goodwill.

No more than a half an hour
Can you do this process with a blonde colored wig too?
I wouldn't recommend that much heat on 613 if it's not 10 A grade hair or better. It's bleach hair that's already be processed. If it's not good quality it will matte quicker. You can Co wash with warm water and silicone mix.

If I don’t want to let it dry overnight could I blow dry it or will it damage my wig?
Depends on the type of hair I personally would let it air dry after putting it through so much heat already.
Can you use this same method with a synthetic wig?
No. synthetic wigs, have a different set of products. Only certain synthetic wigs can tolerate heat. I do not encourage people to boil synthetic wigs.
@@classic_ani I add rollers and dip my wig in hot water it comes out fine. I use fabric softener in my water for synthetic
What does the silicone do?
It's yo restore split ends and add shine to natural hair for certain hair type but it just so happens to also work well on wigs. I purchased this silicone mix from Amazon but it can be found at your local beauty supply store as well. Enjoy !
How long does the remedy work? Like 2-3 weeks or is it like brand new?
The results are pretty much instant once the unit is dry.
