  • The Coming / Leaving home functionalities are very convenient when it is dark outside because it light up your way when lock / unlock the car using the remote control. Let's program them using the OBDeleven on Volkswagen e-up (It should be the same with Seat Mii electric or Skoda Citigo iv).
If you have any questions? Comment below or ask in our Facebook Group: / eup.citigo.mii
OBDeleven dongle you can find in this link : obdeleven.com?aff=43

I did this with the app Carista, even worked on a old 2006 VW Caddy that doesn't have Auto lights enquipped. You just leave the light switch on all the time! 😀

at least on mine it is working, if the switch is on AUTO position and detects night, so the lights will be on while unlock.
to get the light on while lock, before exiting car pull high beam lever one or multiple times and it will activate the coming home light.
it also works on other VAG cars

You have activated the staging in the speedometer or the e-up comes with this function activated?

the coming home feature might work, but i think you have to flash your high beams (brights or what you want to call them) after turning off the ignition… i don‘t think they come on when you lock the car

Do you have a solution about Radio Software too. When I am in the favorites Station menu at DAB Radio , shut down the car , and start it again the Radio starts not in the favorites menu.

Hi Tedo, do you think it's possible to retrofit cruise control on the e-up that do not have this from the factory? On the combustion cars i know it works, only need the lever and coding. I have ordered the new e-up but it is a pre-configured car so i cannot add anything to it. Thanks.

I haven't tried this but my gut feeling is that it should be the same as on the combustion cars. I have seen and option on OBDeleven where you can enable/disable the cruise control. So if you add a lever and enable the option i guess it should work.

Be very carefull with such a change doing it on your own.
Here you would loose the insurance coverage and protection, therefore you would be driving without insurance and that is here a crime to drive a car that has no insurance.
That usually might no one know until the day of an accident and a car expert has to check the car. He will nowadays check first if the car has been changed since it left the factory and changes by a dealer are very well documented and traced by VW.
If you will let a shop do the work for you and you may not need to check or change the registration then you are on the safe side. Otherwise you will be responsible - for everything during your posession of the car and even afterwards if you had sold the car. 8 years later and the car crashes then you will be back in the boat or nutshell of responsibilities and you will be the first accused by the insurances or the current owner of the car.
A cruise control is an integral part of the complete drive train and you would like to change that so be carefull cause it is about your and other lifes if something strange may happen 15 years later when everybody who had owned the car will tell the same old story that they got the car with cruise controll and that they had never touched it ...
Can become pretty expensice and the police and prosecutor will open a case ... for sure.
And you will have lost the trust of your insurance cause they will think that you were a cheater - at least back then.
