Thanks Anne! I bought it back in June after wanting one for literally years. I let it sit (after just trying to use it) for 6 months before I decided that the only way I would learn was to just keep trying to make things over and over. It would have been so nice to have someone here to watch what I was doing that was causing problems. I am finally catching on now. I have made everyone in my family of 5 at least 2-3 pairs of socks for Christmas. Most are not perfect, but I don't think any of them will notice the small errors. Repetition really does teach you a lot.

I've been nervous about getting started, but watching your video has given me the confidence I needed to get started. I love your pick tool! I have one that is black, but it is difficult for me to see with the black tool. I'm off to search for one like yours.
Just getting started is hard! But just jump in and know that you will waste a good bit of yarn at the beginning. What brand of machine did you get? I am not sure where I got my silver picks. There are some vendors listed on CSMlove. Erlbacher also has some silver tools.
I have an Erlbacher. It took me years to get up the nerve to purchase one. I did so with my Mom's encouragement. I found a pick like yours on eBay. It should be here next week. I finished my first tiny hat today! Thanks for your wonderful video. I'll probably follow day 2 tomorrow.@@WiseOwlKnits
