Play its predecessor Lobotomy Corporation then. :-) I heard they reduced the difficulty for Library of Ruina, and while I haven't finished it yet, I've had a lot fewer problems so far.
@@Riley_MDS Yes, I can say with definitive certainty now that it's absolutely true. 1) The combat system in Lobotomy Corporation is clunky, 2) the final battles take forever, 3) everyone dies if you so much as blink at the wrong moment, and 4) getting the equipment needed to actually have a chance in the endgame takes so much time (and again: everytime you make a mistake, everyone dies and you have to start over). I refused to play Binah's boss fight and the final days without cheating (aside from 50 obviously), but in Library of Ruina I beat everything the game threw at me. It did take effort, but if you lose it's not because you were too slow, but because you made a tactical error, which is easier to learn from.
@@earthbind83 I was lucky enough to beat the entire L corp without cheating... Hokma's suppression was by far the most outrageous ones but I passed it on first try with sheer amount of luck, that suppression alone cost me some over ventilating, cramped legs, and over sweating sensation, I hate his suppression but I did it on first try nonetheless, no cheat, just luck... But regardless, I won't ever touch this game again due to day 49 hell
@@Riley_MDS Yeah, I don't have quite that much endurance for a game that punishes this hard. I didn't beat Hokma either and had abnormalities kill Gebura. But I do love replaying the beginning until the first 4 Core Suppressions. That's really the best part story-wise and the creepy atmosphere doesn't get ruined by having to do a ton of multitasking yet. Crazy difficulty and horror don't work well together.
