So what if I have two homes in different cities. Can I control more then one place with my phone? Can more then one phone control the same box? Wow lots of questions but both me and me son, he’s 7 miles away, need new timers and if we buy the same timer then he could help me troubleshoot.
I believe the answer to all your questions is YES! You will love this unit, I appreciate the questions. Please feel free to post once you setup your timers! I would love to hear. I appreciate you Joemc
Hello, great vid. I'm wondering how many sprinklers come with the b hyve system you bought? Can you buy additional sprinklers if you have a big lawn and garden? I'm thinking of buying b hyve 12 station but it doesn't tell you how many sprinklers come with it. Cheers
The B-Hyve is a controller that you “add” to control your sprinkler system. It does not come with any heads, values or pipping. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the comments!
i installed my Orbit B hyve 57915 recently, i love it. My old timer stopped deploying 2 stations out of 3, i have the 4 station, i may take it back and get the 8 station.
Thanks for the question. I don't know anything about the unit. It is from Rain Bird, so if you like their products you may like the controller. I went to their website and some products listed there are "End Of Life" and the others are way more expensive then the Orbit B-Hyve. So I guess its a personal choice. You would have to research the Rain Bird one a little more. I can tell you from personal experience the Orbit one is fantastic.
Donny, As far as I can tell, the B-hyve XR is the same unit as the B-hyve. It seems they both have all the same features and do the same things. The XR does not have the large display that the B-hyve has, although the XR has 3 very small displays on the very front. Also if you loose wifi, you can run both units on Bluetooth, you can also run both unit right from the box itself. The regular B-hyve being alot easier, the XR looks like it maybe harder to start manually right at the box. The XR comes in 8 and 16 zones, where as the B-hyve wifi comes in 6 and 12 zones. Anyone else know any differences feel free to post! Thanks for the question.
@@MyGreenLawn2019 Thank you so much for answering so fast! As far as I could tell the XR had Bluetooth 5.0 and the other 4.2. Also the XR had 5Ghz while the other only had 2.4 Ghz. Also, one has a bigger screen and is cheaper, the other just looks damn cool...lol.
If your hub is currently disconnected from the WiFi the timer won’t be able to show the battery accurately, so unless you connect to the timer via bluetooth. I would recommend going to Settings > Your Hub > Update Wi-Fi Settings. From here, you can reconnect your hub and your timer should automatically connect to the hub and show the proper battery value. Any further issues, please contact Orbit tech support, they are awesome!

Any idea why the battery is showing at 0 percent even after battery replacement?
