"The Challenge: USA's Paulie Calafiore Shares More on His Sexuality, "I'm Bisexual"

After briefly opening up about his sexuality on this week’s episode of “The Challenge: USA,” the reality show star shares more about his road to self acceptance and why it’s important for him to speak out about his sexuality now in an interview with GLAAD’s Anthony Allen Ramos.
Calafiore told GLAAD’s Vice President, Communications & Talent, Anthony Allen Ramos, that it “feels good” to share his truth, and that he attributes a great deal of his reticence behind coming out publicly to toxic masculinity, and pressure to be viewed as a strong competitor and athlete. He also praises generations before him paving the way so that he can embrace his identity, and shares that he hopes he can inspire young people to do the same. Lastly, Calafiore reflects on being accepted by his family, girlfriend, and community for being bisexual.
“The Challenge: USA” airs Thursdays at 10pm on CBS.
