Very helpful . Now I can use my grandfather's projector that was given to me when he past away and was stored in my basement for many many years because I did not know how to use it !
I just picked one up at an estate sale and my left wheel will not turn. However, they encouragement knob will also not turn. How do I fix? Also, my bulb works and turn on and is bright, yet it is not projecting to any surface. What can I do? I was also able to pick up 4 400ft films and I would like to view them. Hi, I have one of these b it the reel on the left will not spin even with encouragement from the silver knob. Is it possible to replace the belts or would it be less trouble to purchase another (hopefully working) unit? Thanks!
very helpfull. thanks. where do you find the plastic caps to fit the super 8 film? m&m wrappers & duct tape? You would think B&H would have had a place on the projector to store the adjustment piece when it wasnt in use so it doesnt get lost. I got 2 of these projectors and they both dont have the cap but this adjustment piece should be common for all these type projectors or something.. somewhere? any clues appreciated. thanks again. i have lots of old fam reels too and someone got to my parents old but much more modern projector. before that i was able to convert 1 reel with music to dvd myself. Now i just want to view and to decide for all the fam friends concerned. how big of a picture will this little light throw on the screen? annnd can any empty reel be used as a take up reel on this projector? HAVENT GIVEN UP YET. haha take care maybe ill forget about it and view some of your allready transferred film. THANKS you were a big help.
I have a B&H 466ZB also with Auto feed and both 8 and Super 8 . Trying to project on a kitchen wall about 6 feet away - seems real bright and over exposed - is it an overexposed movie (they all seem this way or am I too close? I cleaned all the lenses with lens cleaner4 and cleaned dust off the bulb. Advice welcome.

For faster rewind, depress the lever on top of the front arm where the reel is loaded.

If there is no film in the projector, what should the image on the screen look like? I only see a grid pattern of holes. Is this OK?

Your projector, needs a new belt, just open her up, take the old belt off &
Put the new belt on, then button her up then she's good as new!!
I,bought my B&H, brand new!! In a Second Hand Store so beat that !!
How do you open it up and where do I find replacement belts? Thanks!

Seems like it may be overexposed. How does it look when held up to the light?
@@davedoes2121 Dave it looked ish not dark but not over exposed either as I saw on the screen - what is the ideal distance ( projector to screen?
