Thanks for sharing your creativity. My wife and I are starting our journey into journaling, you are giving great ideas and a more detailed yet simple approach to a couple things we wanted to add into our journals.
I LOVE THE PLANNER IDEA!!!! Do yearly round ups! Like top 25 games of year. Favorite game of the month. Favorite game of year. It can be a bracket style with each favorite of the month battling it out.
💯 Yes to a Cozy Gull Studios gaming journal! Also, how about some digital gaming journal pages? We can get it sooner, have digital journal or we can print them out, that would be fun!
I LOVE your Game Journal!!! I only have a single page in my monthly journal. BUT you have sparked me that maybe I need to add more or make a yearly game journal. Great show today, thank you.
I’m so much more of a pen and paper tracker. I always keep a small notebook in my purse to jot things down, but this video has really inspired me to track things in a fun and colorful way. I hope you do more of these. ❤
Jamie, I loved this video! I am also a planner/journaler. Loved seeing this and has given me some ideas for mine. Loved to see more of your planning and journaling content…even if it’s over on Everyday Magic. I would also buy your BG journal if you made one. I love stats and my digital apps but I also love analog and getting back to pen and paper! One thing you could add to the journal book is a 10 X 10 challenge or 5X5 or something like that. I know I see a lot people doing those. Thanks so much for this Board Gamey thing video! ❤
Very cozy looking cardigan. After working on a computer all day, I really enjoy doing things not on a screen. Physically writing and drawing is very calming. I like the pixel idea, seeing the end product will be quite colourful. My memory is terrible, so this is also a good way to keep track and look back on the year. A helpful reminder of key events. Perhaps you should do a video at the end of the year and show us the finished product, KAY!!!
Thanks for sharing. I almost skipped this video but then decided to tune in for the first few minutes to see what it was about and wound up watching the whole thing. I think this is a neat idea, and I might try doing some of it - both for board games and personal habit tracking.
Loved this video. Immediately went to Amazon and purchased a journal and pens to create my own board game and reading journal. Will likely add pages for my BGG Challenges, trades and campaign games for board gaming and StoryGraph Challenges, digital vs physical books and library borrows for reading. Thanks for the inspiration Jaime!
I love this idea! I would try this with my video games. Putting art on the things you track makes it engaging and encouraging to write it more. Like you did for the bookshelf of Boardgames and Books you drawn. You are very organized on your planner, I need to to follow your example 👍
I think a shelf of shame sticker set would be great! Maybe grouped in five games on a self in different configurations. That way you can add as many or as little as you want.
The idea of a gaming journal is something I’d be massively into! I love how each of the pages could be similar to the last but you’ve been so creative in making each thing visualised differently which I’d love to have in something pre-done (Made by you!) :)
I love the idea of the board game bingo! I may see about trying to figure out some categories that would make sense for me. Woo-hoo! So glad you're doing an update to the top 100 BGG games!
Jamie I love this!! I would totally buy a gaming journal. An idea for the journal, I often have to look up a game I backed, when I backed it and when it is expected to arrive. I think having a page that helps me see all that info on one page would be cool and make me excited for what's coming! Also, I love your stickers! Maybe a few of the pages could have the artwork uncolored so it is part journal/ part coloring book. really love this video, and the channel!
I wish I was a physically write stuff down person but I need the flexibility of a digital document that I can stick things in wherever I want because the thought of running out of pages or leaving way too many pages for something gives me anxiety 😂 Love both of these journals, so pretty! Can't wait for Cozy Gull 💜
I love bullet journaling! Its been a year or two since I have created one but I really enjoy creating them. You inspired me to create one this year that includes board games and reading. I would love to see a board game bullet journal from Cozy Gull Studios. I bought Ethan a board game tracking journal this year and it was so hard to find a good one! ❤ -Ashley
This is so fun! I am going to add some of these spreads to my regular journal. It could be fun to make stickers of the grids of different trackers so people who don't want to have an extra journal for gaming could add it to their regular journals.
The pre-printed journal is a great idea! I recently started a reading journal since I don't have enough to justify setting up a bujo, the reading is scratching the 'itch'. I intend on finding gaming groups and a game journal would come in handy 👍
I LOVE THIS VIDEO. More please! I’ve been wanting to do a boardgame journal for a while and had no idea where to start, so this is perfect! Please share More content like this or more page ideas! You’re the best ❤
Loved this video, bringing together two of my favourite things. Some suggestions would include a kickstarter/order tracker, review pages or “Game in Focus” section, most anticipates for the year and coming year.
Love this Jamie! I'm not a creative person at all so probably wouldnt make my own (although it is inspiring watching you show yours!) But I would definitely be interested in buying a board game journal if you created one. Something else to include could be a way of tracking campaign games, and also for solo games that have solo challenges in them.
I adore this video and the idea! I’m not normally a journaling girlie, but I have been keeping a makeshift gaming journal: wishlists, brief reviews, potential storage ideas, etc. I’d love to see a Cozy Gull dedicated gaming journal so I could have other ideas, though! I like it being analog/handwritten because I keep everything else digital, so having something analog would be a good way to step away from the screen and the bustle of life Thanks for this video! It dropped on my birthday, so I feel like it’s a sign to start journaling my games more 😅
Thank you for this video. Yes a board game journal would be great. Themes around holidays. Or Halloween/spooky games for a month or something like that. List for games to buy. I also like having some of the day-to-day stuff combined sounds nice as well. Maybe relabeling shelf of shame to something more positive positive. Like the Game Vault, shelf of opportunity, board game cellar. Enjoy stickers and ability to print game stickers too. Page for playing games u already have. Log a plan
Love it! I'd say it's inspirational, but this is the kind of thing I never keep up on and then it goes into my infinite list of reasons I'm a failure. 😂 But seriously, really cool.
I am here to say, I LOVE the dice Stegosaurus, so cute. Thank you for sharing, this is awesome. A 10x10 or something similar could be cool for the gaming journal.
so fun! I just keep a page in my reading journal that I drew a board game shelf on and whenever we play a game I draw it in and put a tick (and add if I play again), it will be a shelf of everything I played this year. I love drawing and journaling!! 🤩💗
I would definitely be interested in both a game journal, but also an everyday journal like the one you have. My wife really benefits from visual organization/positive reinforcement trinkets, and I have attempted to create stuff but... I am just not a great artist haha... and I love your style of art!
For Northwood! would be a really easy game to knock off your shelf of shame. There's a few minor visual bugs with the art on BGA but otherwise it's a solid implementation. It plays quick both digitally and in person, one of my most played games from last year because it was so easy to table.
That’s so therapeutic . I’d love to do something like that. However, having two kids I feel journaling would take away the little gaming time I can scrape from my days.
I would love gaming journal! (And a movie one, actually) ... I love journals that are undated, so you can start whenever (like if you buy in 2025 but then don't use until 2027, lol) ... I'd love to see a customizable journal though, if possible (like some people need more shelf of opportunity pages, but then maybe they don't want a challenge page) so if the pages can somehow removed and added, that'd be really cool!
As a planner, I think you could release digital printable spreads. (Think something like Peanuts Planner Co), related to board games - scalable in different journal sizes?
I track games on the Sheets app. Played 32 different games IRL in January (31 days). Don't know if I can keep this pace for 365 days. I only own about 320 games. I include games that took longer than normal, but didn't finish due to learning or other circumstances. Also, I tend to play two- or three-handed simulated games, rather than the solo variants, to be familiar with the normal game play.
I'm one of those people who collect stickers and then never stick them anywhere, because if I ever don't have the journal/car/etc. anymore, then that means I don't have that sticker anymore! I suppose if I could just print out more copies, then that wouldn't be as big of a hurdle...
Easily one of my favorite videos. Super cozy… I’d love to see a “plan with me”. And, as always, thank you for touching on mental health! ❤️❤️
💜 thanks for watching!

I have never needed a sticker more than I need that cardigan sticker!!! One of my favorite videos, running to start journaling immediately!
It's also my FAV sticker i've made so far!!
I loveeeee the Board Game Bingo... that's definitely something I'm going to do! This is so great, Jamie!
Thanks!!!
Perfect video for breakfast on a day off. Thanks Jamie!!!!
Thanks for watching!!

We need more bullet journaling in this world. You are so cute ❤ and love how creative you are '! Crumbs and water spills and all
💜💜💜

I'm inspired to get back into journaling. I used to journal all the time but haven't in a while. Fun video!
Thanks!!

I love this idea! I never thought about making a board game journal, but i think it could be really fun!

Great suggestions!! I love the idea of keeping track of Kickstarters!
As I watched this, I was hoping you’d say you are thinking about creating/publishing a gaming journal. I love any type of journaling. Great video.
Thanks!!!
I love the journaling and planning stuff!
Sammmmme
Haha my 11 year old son saw parts of your video and is now making his own gaming journal!!
LOVE IT!!
Love this, Jamie. It looks great. Soooo inspiring.
I would definitely buy your gaming journal! And I Love Red for my Journals as that is my favourite colour.
Awesome!!
So creative! I love the shelf of shame section.
Thanks!!
I almost wrote a very similar comment lol! It is so pretty to look at on paper, but being able to add to a document whenever is so nice
I love this so much!! I can’t wait to get started on my BG journal now! Thanks for this video!!
💜

That's some amazing journaling
Absolutely love this! Can’t wait to start my own after seeing this. Thanks for all the awesome ideas!! ❤ so glad you made this video
Absolutely looooooove analog planning! I’m such a nerd for a nice new notebook :)
You and me both
I definitely would buy your gaming journal!! I prefer dots! I like purple :-)
same and same.. haha
I LOVE THIS VIDEO. More please! I’ve been wanting to do a boardgame journal for a while and had no idea where to start, so this is perfect! Please share

Solo challenges - great idea!
For your everyday journal a few pages with special moments you had with your pets❤
🐈🐕
I love this! I’ve been looking for exactly this! Thank you!
I adore this video and the idea! I love this! A game journal is so fun

💜
My two favourite things - board games and jounaling - i love this video! ❤❤❤ I wanna copy your board game bingo lol
do ittttt
I would definitely be interested in both a game journal, but also an everyday journal like the one you have. Yay!
Ok I haven't watched yet but BEST VIDEO EVER
WOOOO
Just received my pledge of Critter Kitchen, I'm sure you'll love it! Play it at a higher player count if possible!
Good to know!! We are playing it for the Gameathon so we will play at 4!!
I just started a reading journal this year! I'm like do I order a journal for a game one now too?!
Thats what I did!! haha
A page that might be good is Games in a certain category. Worker placement, deck builder, etc…
great idea!
I'm one of those people who collect stickers and then never stick them anywhere, because if I ever don't have the journal/car/etc. anymore, then that means I don't have that sticker anymore! I suppose if I could just print out more copies, then that wouldn't be as big of a hurdle...
Ooooooo the ALPHABET challenge is something I want to do too! (i'm totally spamming your comments rn sorry not sorry)
😂
Wait....if you do get a bingo, do you get to treat yourseld to another game? ;)
but ofcourse!!
Also we need someone to design good board game washi tape
TRUTHHHH - Im adding it to my list! ha
@ yay!! I’ll give you all my money for that lol
SOOOOOOOO STOKED for this video!! ♥📔♥📔♥ 📔♥📔♥📔
