Dankzij zijn eigenzinnige beeldtaal, vol verwijzingen naar geschiedenis, mythologie en literatuur, groeide Anselm Kiefer (1945) uit tot een van de grootste kunstenaars van onze tijd. Zijn werk is een lust voor het oog en prikkelt het brein. Hij denkt groots, werkt op monumentale schaal met ongebruikelijke materialen en deinst er niet voor terug om de ongemakkelijke vragen van het leven te stellen. Tijdens zijn solotentoonstelling bij Voorlinden - te zien van 14 oktober 2023 tot en met 25 februari 2024 - kun je zijn intrigerende schilderijen, sculpturen, kunstenaarsboeken en installaties zien. Een groot aantal daarvan is nooit eerder vertoond.
Let op: de tentoonstelling van Anselm Kiefer is groot en kostbaar. Daarom geldt tijdens de tentoonstellingsperiode een toeslag van 2,50 euro op alle reguliere toegangsprijzen, behalve voor kinderen tot 12 jaar.

Thanks to his idiosyncratic visual language, full of references to history, mythology and literature, Anselm Kiefer (1945) has become one of the greatest artists of our time. His work is pleasing to the eye and stimulating for the brain. He thinks big, works on a monumental scale with unusual materials and does not shy away from asking the uncomfortable questions of life. During his solo exhibition at Voorlinden - on view from 14 October 2023 to 25 February 2024 - you can see his intriguing paintings, sculptures, artists’ books and installations. Many of them have never been shown before.
Please note: Anselm Kiefer’s exhibition is both extensive and expensive. Therefore, a surcharge of 2.50 euros applies to all regular admission fees, except for children up to 12 years old, during the exhibition period.
