Hi , please reply. Need ur suggestions. In my Scorpio N Z8 L petrol AT , when I change gear from P to D or D to P or R to D, there is a big noise from the car . Checked it with my friends AT Diesel too, it’s the same. He said it’s normal for a car with Rwd to hv this. But I don’t think it shud be having this big of a noise. I can hear this sound as I go reverse when I release the brake slowly as I reverse the car. And also, the sound is heard only when changing from P to D or R to D after a long halt ( ie, morning when I start my car from home to office after 10 hour parking in my garage). By evening the sound vanishes away… and comes back after a long halt, I.e parking overnight . kindly reply , do u also hv this with ur car. Is this normal.? It’s been since day 1 of buying the car, Mahindra ppl said it will vanish as time goes on. But hasn’t after 10 mon. Some say it’s break pad squeezing noise, but Whats ur say.. Wud request other Scorpio n owners to also comment ur views req this. Thanks
Yes sir it’s normal as my car has also the same condition. I raised this concern in many mahindra service centre’s but they all said there’s no problem its the nature of the car. Cleaning the brake pads/shoes reduce this noise. I have also found this noise in many scorpio automatics but its normal. No need to worry 😄

You could interchange the driver and test it once, I think you might get the better result. However HARRIER feels MASS, BOSS of the roads.
