Beatles + Green Day = The Atlantics
Good to see new people singing old Beatles songs.
Not only did they preserve the arrangement of the original tune, they successfully preserved the energy too. Congratulations boys!
preserved so much that in the minute 1:22 was supposed to have entered the vocals but it didn't happen
This is absolutley FANTASTIC!!!!!!
I'm 67... Bona fide member of the Beatles generation. This is GREAT, Atlantic, I feel the love.
Fab rendition, well done, fellas.
great performance and vocal harmony dude!

SO good
12 years ago! so good!
very nice
Great cover lads! Brilliant! Keep up the great work. If you ever come to Liverpool,I'll buy yas a pint.
John lennon was so creative and open minded- he took influence for this song from a Bing Crosby song. " please lend your little arms to my pleas..." Was intrigued also by the double meaning of please. Also the final product was much faster due to George Martin's suggestion. John initially had a slower Bing Crosby style to it.
nice job, very nice.
great
Awesome!
Well done, lads!

Exelente!!
Great job!
great 😊😊
brilliant
If you look at charts from the early 60's beforeThe Beatles came along there is nothing I can remember that looks forward to the new music that The Beatles created. I was in a department store in Liverpool when the record came out and I can vouch that sounded like something from another planet ,in a good way that is
There was exceptional music
Happening in the USA the great Little Richard and there's one record made in Britain Shakin' all Over by Johnny Kidd and the Pirates
which is an astonishing hard rock number which seems to come from nowhere . Unfortunately the band never came up with anything similar again but this was almost like the foundation of modern rock presaging bands like The Who and the Small Faces
Sick cover, excellent work, nice to hear your own spin !!
Excelente
I like this!!
Simplemente lo mejor que escuchado 👏
so friggin good its scarey..
Excellent !!!! all the way around !!! {{ Love the left handed guitar Backwards !!! How do you do it ??? }
He's naturally left-handed.
Con estilo propio , me gustó ...
always safer not to call YOURSELF the best. :-)
They didn't. We did! 😊
wow..not bad at all!!!! Very nice..:)
Muito bem...
Superb :)
That was a good hard edged guitar heavy version of "Please Please Me". Most bands that try to do a power rock version of Beatles covers mess up the songs by being too distorted.
very good mates. Dont stop. Courage.
Very nice cover !
In the words of the Sir George Martin, "You've just made your first #1 record."
great :)
very good boys. Your voices is very coooooooooooooool :)
GEnial, ME gusto Su Estilo y su Intrepretacion, Aunque nada como The Beatles.
¡está poca madre!
Digging this! Great job guys!
nice job!
muy bueno , solo me falta el acorde B en final de vuelta.
i love rickenbacker 360
Wish I was this cool 😔
Nice job fellas.
MUY BUENOS Y MUCHO SWING
quality
Wow! Terrific! Where's your album?
anyway. we have a stack load of original songs and have toured the world with our band the screening for years. what else could we do to support this without major label backing ? get a job? no,the atlantics is our alter ego where we still perform and enjoy so as much as we ever have. we've played together for 15 years now
for example check out the screening you look much better in the dark and diem on youtube
This isn't live, there's three vocal arrangements, and it he video shows only 2 singing
Looks like it. They lip synch like real pros. Gotta hand that to 'em.
Depends what you regard as a decent song. There's more money in original songs when your famous, there's more money being a cover band when your not.
Very good mate, really. Try all titels
I'm not sure whether you haven't understood my point, you said there's more money playing your own songs than playing other people's... being in a band and playing numerous gigs, I know that there is very little money in it. Even touring UK etc as a small band you make next to nothing. So unless you state the circumstances, for the majority of people/bands there is more money playing in a cover band or doing cover than playing original songs. Hope this clarify's my point! Cheers.
@martindelpumas Es verdad no me habia dado cuenta que El Guitarrias era Zurdo, podrian formar la V con la guitarra y el bajo como the Beatles
how many cost a mechanical and sync license for this song?
The Atlantics are a Australian band. They are, I should think, in their 60's now.
Robert Mckinnon Yeah, I came on here thinking it was the Australian band. These individuals come from Leicestershire in England, and they play at weddings.

i have a surf 7" by the atlsntics
I think everything was recorded in a studio and then synced to the video. If so then I wouldn't call it a live video, which is much harder to do. [You can't edit out mistakes when it's live.] Secondly, playing to an empty room takes something away -- from the music, from the musicians, and from the audience. Simply showing delight and enchantment on the listeners' faces can create perception the music is better than it actually is.
I agree with your assessment. For example who"s doing the third harmony part I hear? There's only two guys with mics singing on the video,,,,
