    using a T-shirt can help facilitate the cleaning by wrapping the shirt around the fingers making it easier for dipping into the soap and applying it to the book and extracting the detritus.

    What’s the best treatment for dried out leather that gets your hand dirty when you touch it? The books you’re working are in much better shape.

    Do you have any tips on removing the dust from the top of the page's?
    I'm talking about the kind of dust, that has been sitting there for 250 / 300 years.

    I have inconsistent color ( fading) from one book to another in a volume of 22 books. Should I attempt leather dye or is the product you use sufficient to restore color?
