W wąwozie Homole i w Pieninach, w rezerwacie Biała Woda i na Paśmie Radziejowej, Lubania, Gorca, Kudłonia, Turbacza płynęły lata mojej młodości, wędrówki, radość odkryć, poznawanie Boga, siebie i własnych możliwości. Towarzyszyła im muzyka, góralska, klasyczna i jazzowa...
Important to note that for some reason the original recording is not available on RUclips. Lots of good covers by other pianists, but the original is absent. Though all very good no doubt, I would encourage people to get a copy of the album and hear the original concert improvisation. Tomaz Trzcinski is probably the best on RUclips, and it says something about the iconic piece that Trzinski has done so well at playing this stunning piece. No mean feat for any player to endeavour to play!
Trzciński is passionate and individualist, it must be able to understand and appreciate at the same level it is his music and interpretations, which is outstanding.

+Hironari Aqz Thank you very much, best greeitngs, Merry Christmas and happy new year ! I still love this music too. Thats for you, from my last concert, enjoy: ruclips.net/video/Gp-kllvacLg/видео.html
I judge this performance from 19 min too 28min and Tomasz Trzcinski nails it utterly and completely. I don't give a fuck what any of you think. I know this piece of music off by heart and this is a wonderful rendition.
Jarrrett the genius. What else can you say? This piece is enchanting, its creator is immortal. Forty yrars and more his work meanders through my heart, mind and soul... Unforgetable!
It's almost as much as I did with me, because I got to know this music in 1989 and it's with me since then. Also on the stages as my own interpretation. And I always discover it anew.
I can't even express how much I love this concert. I have been listening to this beauty for over 20 years now..what a treat for my Heart and my ears 💓💓💓💓
Kolejne Twoje piękne granie z górskimi pejzażami w tle... I dla mnie to bliska muzyka i drogie sercu zielone wzgórza... Dziękuję serdecznie i pozdrawiam z sierpniowym wiatrem.;o)
Dziękuję serdecznie, miłego słuchania i oglądania!
One of the greatest solo jazz piano concerts of all time. Sure genius from beginning to end. And to top it off, the word is it is entirely improvised from beginning to end. Such mastery, such majesty, such magnificence! Jarrett is a gift that keeps on giving.
@@Aldous944 I say "thank you" because I was taught in the olden days that if someone addresses someone with a special intention, they should always be thanked for that. It is an element of good manners and personal culture of a person who considers himself a civilized person. So, thank you for all comments, Aldous. As always on such occasions, I am extremely happy and read them with great interest. This time you gave me pleasure in several episodes, which, taking into account your comprehensive experience and knowledge of the world of music art and show business, I greatly appreciate and greet you very warmly. TT
I was blessed to attend this Koln concert in 1971 in Royce Hall at UCLA. In many ways, it changed my life. I had a mild affinity for jazz, but in 1971 my focus was on Dylan, Tim Harden, other underground artists and of course the Beatles, and Stones. My wife said we should go see this guy, Jarrette at UCLA. We are since divorced. but bless her for this as I can still see me sitting and crying as I heard this magnificent display of creativity. Never had I seen such an abandonment of restraint. This man took over the moment to a place I'd never seen before. Keith Jarret is one amazing genius.
Thank you ! This is the music that changed my life as well. Accustomed to the templates musical forms existing in the canon of teaching my native music schools, I found listening to a recording of this concert, it was decisive for my entire future path, which from the beginning of studies have tried to follow more consistently. As the line of Robert Frost's two roads. And today I find the choice of the right, so it is much more interesting. Improvisation became of my domain, in which I feel happier with the instrument. Best greetings ! TT magicpiano.net/fantasia.html
Tomasz, your rendition of Keith Jarrett's Koln Concert grows on me the more I listen to it. Really beautiful, bravo brother ❤ I have been learning / playing along with the Koln Concert myself lately. What a blessing to share that magical musical journey that he gave us in 1975. The detail with which you learned it and play it shows a lot of dedication!
Many thanks for your kind words, Ryan! All the pleasure is mine, and I'm very glad you like this interpretation so much, especially since it's a good dozen years old now. It's great that you're also passionate about this piece, it's unique music and art. As for me - in 2022 I recorded a series of my own improvisations titled. "Piano Explorations 2022" and I cordially invite you to listen to this stuff, I think it is worth starting with Vol. III "Continuum" and especially the first piece - "Exploring". Waouuu !
A utterly timeless classic explore the story of how this concert came about I had this when it first appeared it didn't leave the decks...... 66 now and it still gives me goose bumps......how it came about is equally fascinating enjoy if this is your first introduction
Stephen Owen Jazz Fan Thank you very much ! You welcome ! It was my introduction 10 years ago, Stephen. I play this music in my interpretations 2 - 3 times in year, but not more, by the concerts - live. And each time I try to make a new work, mix it with my own music ideas and improvisations. Its always a fascinatig work to prepare this music from the beginning and to perform it new, and to interpret that. I love it ! Best greetings !
Keith Jarrett - His music is so soft and full of so much gentle compassion in an extremely consistent worldview. It is an irreplaceable and truly healing melody.
I discovered Keith Jarrett in 1975 and thought that no one else could play what I thought were improvisations. I didn't think these pieces could have been written.
Yes, THE KOLN CONCERT was recorded in its entirety as early as the mid-1990s and released by Schott Music International as an authorized transcription by Keith Jarrett, with his foreword and thoughts on some performance aspects. This is such a minimal starting point for the work, which I undertook around 2002 to perform it in its entirety in concert in the fall of 2003 and recorded it in its entirety on the 2CD "Blue Mountains" for the first time in 2005. Since then I have performed the work in concerts and recorded it a dozen times. It has been a beautiful, creative adventure.
Play this album on tape till it broke, found this after decades it was most hopeful of times. A solo flight and again the same! another album was Earl Klugh with a heart. lost it. Love through the cords of life that precious of new beginnings of inward journey to life again. Rebirth of one's life a healing song to be with spirit. Bravo Maestro! Evelyn Ramos artist
Growing up this was the solo thing to listen to besides Chopin. One of the greatest solo piano accomplishments of all time in the world. Always a marvel, Keith Jarret
When I was very sad and lonely about 30 years ago, a good friend of mine gave te Köln Kenzert to me and I listened it again and again and the surprising polymorphism of the work filled my emptiness. When I found your cover today in youtube, I doubted this could be nearly as good as the original. But then I heard your first tentative cords and it seemed like coming home after a long time. Now I'm listening to your wonderful interpretation and only my writing this comment keeps me from weeping. Thank you very much for this wonderful reunion. I really admire the viridity of your playing. It it really appears to be invented just that moment. Unbelievable.
Wonderful performance, the best on the net. Thank you Tomasz, now that Keith is not able to perform anymore, what you donate to us is priceless!
Thank you, I grew up in the mountains of new york and now live in Texas and my wife plays the piano like this through the windows of our humble ranch home to me in the field and it lifts me.
Thank you very much, I am glad that you enjoyed the recording. I also grew up in the mountains - the ones you can see on those old photos from 1991-1993, and now I miss those beautiful surroundings and that - distant period in my life - very much. These are my memories of the times of my youth, together with the music that was then an inspiration and a challenge for me, and later became a kind of road, a little-known path, which I followed out of curiosity, just as I often do in my mountains, in order to learn its purpose. And so I continue walking it, meeting interesting people on the way and getting to know unusual, beautiful places... Warm greetings to your wife! TT
The combination of extraordinary photographs from your country and Jarrett unusual music that you interpret courageously have resulted in a very beautiful, artistic film. Thank you!
I said this 2 years ago?Only the other day on radio 2 while singing along in my kitchen to Mull of Kintyre, did I have goosebumps all over.Sound,is King. Sound that is faster than light,my Children disagree ,what can one do?
I listen and I am very impressed! Unlikely to achieve in the interpretation of the music. You surprised the world. It does not quite much that they can not appreciate it now. I used to appreciate. Greetings !
Wher are all the "ughs", bro? Absolutely masterful rendition you made, sir. My dad had this on vinyl before. Listen to it on our old wooden speakers and vinyl player on Germany. One of the best concerts ever. Great job. Thanks for posting.
For me it was when I met this music an experience of infinite freedom in the creative action of a man - an artist liberated from the chains of form and sound binding elsewhere, and this has remained unchanged to this day, always awakening the feeling of encountering a free and independent spirit, liberating soul of a man tired of the monotonous rhythm of everyday body.
What a beautiful way to pay tribute to the great Keith Jarrett who played what was his best solo piano concert in Cologne, Germany !!! Well done, Tomasz...
The best album I never heard. I found this album in my wife´s boutique... Perhaps I merry her for themes like that... 40 years ago... Its amazing find people that freeze with this music.

Serdecznie pozdrawiam! TT

I judge this performance from 19 min too 28min and Tomasz Trzcinski nails it utterly and completely. I don't give a fuck what any of you think. I know this piece of music off by heart and this is a wonderful rendition.
Thank you, best greetings!
Thank you very much for yours great comment! My pleasure, Enjoy!
Always beautiful music! Next year this great piece will be 50 years old! Unbeliveble!
Thank you very much!
Thank you!
TT
I never thought that someone would be able to play it again so good !
And yet, thank you for the compliment!
👌👍
Tomasz, your rendition of Keith Jarrett's Koln Concert grows on me the more I listen to it. Really beautiful, bravo brother ❤
I have been learning / playing along with the Koln Concert myself lately.
It is here on You Tube in the RUclips Music version in its entirety Enjoy exploring and listening,
Warm greetings

Waouuu ! Merci infiniment 🤓🙏🕊️🎶
Thank You very much for your reflection! My pleasure, best greetings!
Pozdrawiam serdecznie!
The immortal Part IIc should be a concert item in its own right. Well done Tomas. You had me transported right back to 1975.
Thank you, my pleasure!

My dad introduced me to this music wen I was younger... I'm so glad he did... it's like chicken soup for the soul and ears lol 🥰💕🙌
Thank you! Enjoy!
Magnificent is my word for Mr. Jarrett's works. Awesome and amazing.
Thank You, Best greetings !
Bardzo proszę, cała przyjemność po mojej stronie!
It's pretty amazing that an improvisation has achieved the status of being a recognized work worthy of new interpretations.
Thanks a lot!
Just found the double LP in a box of old records (plays perfectly) and am listening to it at the moment..great music.
Thank you!
Keith Jarrett - His music is so soft and full of so much gentle compassion in an extremely consistent worldview.
It is an irreplaceable and truly healing melody.
Thank you very much!
👌👍👏
Impressionnant.
Najważniejsze na początku - dobrze zacząć i zaskoczyć.
Dziękuje bardzo serdecznie!
Music from another dimension, beauty in its purest form ...
Thank you very much, my pleasure!

Sublime. Perfect Music. I heard this in early 80s and it sounds sooo wonderful in 2016!

Thank you!
Growing up this was the solo thing to listen to besides Chopin. One of the greatest solo piano accomplishments of all time in the world. Always a marvel, Keith Jarret
Yes, for me too! But not only Jarrett, all jazz music, blues, all The Best of musician from this wirld. Thank you, Best greetings!
Tomasz, you make sense, thanks. Jarrett has given the piano a very good name in the world, especially his Sun Bear concerts, wow!
YES YES YES YES YES YES YSE
Ah, what a joy to hear this splendid music again...thank you.
Thank you, my pleasure!
No i wspaniale widoki z polskich Beskidów, i przepięknych Pienin, romantyka!
Thank you very much for so nice words, its very kind of You! Best greetings! Tomasz Trzciński
Thank you for sharing this, Tomasz. It is a great version.
Thank you very much, my pleasure!
Great performance !

Wonderful performance, the best on the net. Thank you Tomasz, now that Keith is not able to perform anymore, what you donate to us is priceless!
Thank you, mu pleasure, enjoy!
Thank you!

Thank You! Best greetings to You and your father! You are very welcome!
Wher are all the "ughs", bro?
Absolutely masterful rendition you made, sir. My dad had this on vinyl before. Listen to it on our old wooden speakers and vinyl player on Germany.
One of the best concerts ever.
Great job.
Thanks for posting.
Thank you very much, my pleasure! And best greetings to your dad!
Ps: The „ughs” were exclusively reserved by Keith Jarrett, and he did not license them to anyone. I had to do without them! :)))
Piękna fascnująca muzyczna podróż .Dziękuję Maestro Tomasz Trzciński :)
Cała przyjemność po mojej stronie, pozdrawiam serdecznie i dziękuję !
This concert is making me think about how grief and loss are such universal feelings, but yet it’s experience is utterly individual and isolating.
He is so amazingly talented. My eyes watering as he plays so incredibly beautifully ❤.
Thank you!
Unbeliveble ! This music, amazing piece !
You right !

One of the most genious concerts.
Concentrated beauty itself.

mam tam wiele ulubionych miejsc...
Tomasz Trzcinski To prawda
What a great interpretation with nearly 2 millions clicks ! Congratulations !

Thanks a lot!
Pozdrawiamy serdecznie!
