Sorry I been playing about 40 yrs so I was your age or maybe a bit older when that song came out . RATTS sound is like George Lynch era Dokken HARD to duplicate . Very good cover !!

Piercy is a cool dude but without a real guitar player backing him he’d never be where he is. although he’s very motivated And very good writer, especially with warren. I hope your art takes you far. I missed the boat end it upsets me. this is my generation and my style of playing.. I’m 58 and I’ve owned dozens of 70s les Paul’s but it’s over for me now arthritis, Bad wrist problems , tinnitus from cranked up marshals real marshals with non-master volume. Please take care of your ears too. blah blah blah. Good luck although that music didn’t survive too long you can still make a lot of money being a studio musician . My professional friends right jingles and can make $1000 a pop for literally pulling something out of their hat in no time at all. or who knows where this will take you. You definitely have the rock ‘n’ roll look producers like the whole package you seem to have it. Then again the music sucks nowadays the age of stage presence musicianship has disappeared.just wanted to say you have very articulate skills even your pick hand is very fluid! Good luck!!!

Lynch u needed a soldano and huge mid range crunch. I can play all his shit . It's his tone. That's hard to capture
