I keep coming back to this cutscene over and over again because it’s absolutely devastating when Nikolai sees his other self, drinking away the pain of his wife’s death. He’s been there before, and it hurts him to see him like that again. God damn Treyarch, Aether may be over but I’ll never stop playing.

I love the energy of this trailer, it just has this "We're back and we made another kickass map" energy that's missing from a lot of trailers.
It really was like that because if I remember, this map pack was severely delayed and we didn't know if there was gonna be a new one.

As much as I love WaW-Bo2 zombies (Bo2 being my personal favorite run) there’s no denying that Bo3 was the peak of zombies. Every new map, the lead up to it’s release and everything, just felt so god damn *amazing* . I don’t like using the word, but the Bo3 run of zombies was hugely epic, in the truest definition of the word. You can tell they still cared about the game mode so much at this time.
I don’t want to talk bad about the other Zombies leads, and not everyone enjoyed his map style (his style did have flaws) but man, after Blundell left, I feel like he took a lot of the passion for Zombies with him.
Legit no one would disagree even though it doesnt have some bangers like Buried or Mob still the peak of Zombies
Like the end of Bo2 to the end of Bo3 was peak zombies since we had insanely good original maps and amazing remasters of old maps that were both remasters and added the extra things released in the recent maps with Der Wunderfizz and Gobblegums while still staying true to the original map feeling
I wish I liked bo3 zombies but can’t. The challenge was gone by then and the maps turned into a fantasy squid hentai shit. BO2 is my favorite
@@davemac9563 Same opinion honestly, I pretty much stopped playing COD games after BO2 due to it all getting way to futuristic and out of hands for me personally.
I feel like BO1 & BO2 was the actual peak though since we were given maps like Kino Der Toten, Moon, Five to others like Buried, MOTD, Origins.
And with a lot of personalilty as well for each, even the MOTD crew had so much character and emotion. Plus a lot of the maps had that realistic, gritty tone that actually could make you feel a bit jumpy since it was set in a time that wasn't overly complicated.
@@bobbylungstealer8243 I kinda hated all the HP lovecraft stuff and the keeper stuff, but BO3 had AMAZING gameplay and map design (I think gobblegums were a bit overkill). Whilst the story wasn't my cup of tea, the gameplay made up for it.
