I think the theory behind relics is that there’s this ancient relic that corrupted these enemies for them to be artificially stronger due to this powerful artifact from a long long time ago that’s corrupting these enemies, to be far over their potential, and become menacing to the cats at that stage of the game But they also lose control of themselves in the process Also, it says in Jagando’s description that they were summoned by the dark priest
Heres my theory about the story of Battle Cats. I did see something about the whole great cat war thing, and i firmly believe that Bahamut-cat was the previous leader of the Battle Cats, but he unfortunately met his end. It would make sense considering that the chapters called the revival of Bahamut cat. I think the Face and Nyandam we're just setups. In the ending of the empire of cats, the narrator who's actually the cat God mentions how a cat came into his office for a job interview but didn't get in. Because a cat is just a cat. So I think that the cat God and Bahamut have something going on between them. I think that the reason why cat God rejected the cat was because of Bahamut cat he wasn't as good as you are. The person you play as is the new leader of The Battle Cats. And another theory of mine is about the mythical Titan cat. I think that the player is the Mythic Titan in a transformed state. Think about his description it says "*blessed* with overwhelming strength and stamina" that indicates that he didn't have that strength naturally. And the whole thing Bahamut i think he's bitter towards cat God, he believes that cat God was responsible for his death.
Maybe the great cat war was against the Aku. So time passed and they sought help from the dragon emperors who uses cat’s as core til they become crazed. Successfully, they recruit Bahamut cat and as time passes. One fateful battle leaves Bahamut cat a lil crazed til he runs out of fuel and dies, which allows the crazed cat within him to pop out and slowly infect other cat’s. Thus causing “the first apocalypse”. Which lead’s to a massive amount of crazed cat’s to flood the world and make the Aku to flee from fear of getting infected. This lead’s to the dynamite’s. The cat clan heroes and Lasvoss do their little side quest. Then there’s summoner Satoru, who saw how the crazed cat’s made the aku army flee and possibly could end the world, he head’s to the aku to make a deal to gain power that’ll stop the crazed cat’s. Anyways, he probably shorten’s the crazed army by a bit and soon disappears. Lasvoss and the cat clan heroes probably take each other out and yadiyada. Since the crazed cat’s had started going down in population, the Aku probably started scheming more. This leads to Summoner Satoru alongside some chummy ol pals called the cat clan heroes who probably either recruited and defeated Lasvoss. Anyway’s, they probably jump Jagando and end up sealing that boy leading to probably an era of peace that lasts for a while. The cat clan heroes and Summoner Satoru probably pass away by then and leave behind relics that future rare cats wear. Alongside the treasures of the cat sword and shield. But most importantly. Summoner Satoru’s book. A few years pass and the Aku once more begin’s to act up soon leading the Empress cat beginning her research and soon finds a book/grimoire. Left behind by Summoner Satoru, perhaps this pact came in the deal of a grimoire that slowly corrupted him. Anyways, that same grimoire slowly corrupts Empress cat. After that idk.
my story: cats very hungry and want cat food and their freinds that got sealed in the past, so they take over world and kill the alien empire cus they were in their way, than concentrate all the power in the universe into a machine, to travel back in time. later they find more stronger sealed cats that they did not know existed. the emperor got corrupted and the empress also, but she did not realise this, in her search for a cure, her mind was corrupted by the aku, thus opening the portal. since the cats did not know, hence it says it was the real empress doing everything.
