I recently 'rediscovered' KT after liking her back in the early 2000s (at the time I only knew her hits 'Black Horse and the Cherry Tree' and 'Suddenly I See'). Man, she has only gotten better even through all the craziness of the last few years! The pandemic and isolation has changed us all in different ways and she has flourished through it. Bravo KT, looking forward to more and hopefully sometime you'll be here in my area and I can see you live somewhere. PS: I'm usually not a big acoustic fan but.....excellent KT, so cool!
I remember time around 2010 when I discovered KT and totally fell for her - I was absolutely amazed by everything about her. I watched all videos with KT on yt - ALL of them, literally. Then, I just forget about it and after couple of years, in the weirdest year of my life I came back to her again, her music is fresh to me again, songs I know still by heart... Thank you, KT for being around, it's great to see you're doing fine. Cheers to KT and all people reading this - stay safe!
I too really like 'Heal Over', KT. The very complex guitar chords seem to express a delicate balance of sadness and hope. When your life falls apart - and we've all been there - your poor suffering heart needs solace. Someone said that Youth is that stage of life before you've experienced tragedy.
Your songs are so beautiful. On my star made me cry. It made me think of my husband Ira, he passed away last February and I think of him as a bright star watching over me. I miss him so much
KT, maybe I'm amazed by the coincidences we have. I won't go into too much (Physics, guitar, Burlington, busking) - just that I have more in common with you than I would have expected. I won't let it throw me, but it reinforces my admiration. Lotsa luv right back at you.
