If you are looking for a realistic cafe racer project with a BMW motorcycle, this is definitely one of the best you will find.
I spent almost 5 hours arround this BMW, and i can say that the more i looked at it, the more i loved it.
The inspiration muse of this project, was the BMW R100 R built by Diamond Atelier.
But the owner, Paulo Pereira, wanted to implement a different vision, and turn it into something more cafe racer, and less Scrambler.
And he really succeeded, by choosing the right man for the job. Gabriel Abreu, owner of "Curteskin Atelier", in Portugal.

I'm a newer student at MMI (motorcycle mechanics institute) and I'm happy to report that the school just approved a cafe racer building course which I will definitely be attending, seeing as how it's the reason I went to school in the first place. just felt like sharing my excitement!

Nah... after looking at the bike for some time, i feel that the design is great, flawless. But the headlight doesn't fit in the end... In my eyes. Great video, as always.
The owner also had thought using a normal and round headlight. But to be
honest, i like this one because it's different, and stays very well between those inverted front forks. Personally, i like it. But thanks for sharing your opinion my friend. Cheers.

I like it a lot 👍😊 Ive owned a Zero DS -16 and thought the headlight were from a DS or SR yearmodel around 2016. But now I have googled the Yamaha mt-03 and it seems both bikes share the same typ of headlight assembly.
I made my DS into more of a scrambler looking bike with continental tkc80s 😊 it looked very Nice 🌞

Greetings from central Florida. I have a 1983 r100rt that I will be building soon (I hope) and have not yet settled on exactly what I want to do with it. Somewhere between a scrambler and cafe and I am gathering ideas for this build. Great video, two thumbs up.

I've owned an R80GS and R100GS. I'd go back to two exhausts, pinstriping on the tank, add a bikini fairing, larger front mudguard, electric blue paint job.

Didn't like the headlight at first,but it flows & compliments the lines nicely. Not in your face & probably wouldn't standout among many others,but worth a closer look & I'd ride it for sure. Nice bike,great vid as always. Thankyou😊

I would prefer a round headlight, not much of a fan of that headlight either.

Obrigado amigo pela simpatia. Já pensei em fazer isso no inicio, mas depois verifiquei que isso é exactamente o que os programas profissionais de TV fazem, assim como alguns canais do youtube. Por isso, cheguei à conclusão de que a forma como costumo apresentar as motos, é mais "poética" e inspiradora, para além de permitir que as pessoas vejam realmente a moto, e não a cara do apresentador e/ou dono da moto. :) Mas obrigado pela sugestão. Gracias. If you search on google for gsxr Cafe Racer or R6 Cafe Racer , you will find some. But i don't recommend. The typical and classical cafe racer stance/flavor never will exist in such modern bikes. Saludos

The LED tail light came from a BMW K1200. The seat is custom made by sculpting the original seat of this motorcycle. Cheers.

Respeito a opinião de motociclistas que não curtem escapes proeminentes, embora pessoalmente não concorde, pois acho os escapes tremendamente influentes no design, positiva ou negativamente. Claro que algo crítico assim representa risco de escolhas erradas e, na dúvida, o menos pode ser mais mesmo. Mas para um amante de escapes como eu, a solução adotada nesta moto me pareceu um desperdício de criatividade, assim como a escolha do conjunto ótico que, pelo menos aqui no Brasil, é muito comum e corriqueiro nas MT - 03. Digo isso porque achei essa moto linda mesmo e, seguindo a linha de raciocínio do início do vídeo, humildemente faria apenas duas mudanças: 1- Optaria por um dos modelos de escapes cromados ou de titânio artesanais das grifes japonesas e; 2- Substituiria pelo conjunto ótico da Speed Triple antiga ( o duplo farol redondo ), só que posicionado um pouco mais a frente, para ficar mais agressivo. E de quebra, uma senhora pintura preto metálico, para contrastar a agressividade com um certo refinamento. Longe de mim querer dizer que essa é a escolha certa, apenas jogando conversa fora.. rsrsrs.. Abraço.

Who can say anything against when it originates in a BMW? It is strange that something as German look so good in a design that originates from England. Two details that with less technical skill could be a visual failure actually look simply incredible; I mean the headlight and seat, so modern. The color gives an aggressive and rebel appearance, also the change on the exhaust and its sounds increases the look of something evil that always pleases bikers. Perhaps the only thing I dislike is the ignition system, with the electronic key, but understandable in a world surrounded by such devices and the need to keep safe expensive goods, but still causes me some rejection. The use of technical tools design as "render" is understandable and useful and leaves “perfect” products, that made to some extent human inspiration superfluous but boring, so a simple change as stated in the exhaust is important, the eye and the human talent gives an imperfection, that make it so perfect. Is no longer a “product”, but a great bike.
