Hi, I'm still confused on how to transfer View Templates. I have set up my template file .rte families, scale, all of that, BUT, now what I'm missing are set View templates that I want to bring over to my new Template .rte. So that, when I create a new .rvt, I can load my Template file and be on my way. Currently, I'm not finding any good source that shows me how to do it. Balkan not having it, and I"m not making out, what you are saying here. Looks like you have several topics in one topic We dont do "Schedules" We do View Templates (with vv settings, cut ranges, etc) I NEED to find a way how to transfer those

Hi, is there any way to export a view template as a file in order to sent it to another colleague who works in another company? so far I have only been able to export view templates having both projects open. Of course I could send him the whole project which contains the view templates and he could open it and go to 'Manage view templates' but the question is, is it possible to have a independent view template file? Thanks a lot

Hi Iftekhar, I'm not 100% familiar with that qualification, but I understand that corresponds to high school, correct? That would depend on what your companies require where you live and whether you are pursuing a career as an architect/engineer or drafter/modeler. For example, in Italy I could get an entry level job using Revit because I attended a technical high school (something like surveyor/junior architect). Look at job posts in your area for Revit modeler positions. In the meantime, if you decide to continue with your studies, it will be a great experience to have alongside university. Also it may help to get the Revit Certified Professional credential.
And sir..is it ok to familiar in revit architecture or i have to learn all stream i.e ...structure and mep also ..bcoz structure and mep as far as I know the person who knows engineering related to there field they can go for this..

I originally think just create a template with all the elements in it such correct font text size, to all building symbol. Then link all the project to it + explode it. So this project will have all the necessary template it in. But than I loss all the views + sheets. have to recreate it. Not an efficient way. How would you deal with this issue?
