  • Little John (intermediate) to Long John to Deer Run then back to Long John (both beginner) is a ski run of varying difficulties located at Mount Snow. The trails run from the summit of the mountain, down to the main base area. The run starts off on Little John, an intermediate trail that starts off down the mountain to the skier's right. The trail is pretty flat and there are multiple other trails that exit off to the skier's left. The trail then merges with Long John, a beginner trail. Long John is ride and runs pretty flat and straight. Eventually, Deer Run, also a beginner trail, exits off to the skier's left of Long John. The trail is a little narrower and is windier but is still very mellow and easy. The trail then merges back onto Long John, which traverses back to the base area.
Mount Snow is a ski area located in West Dover, Vermont, which is located in the Southern portion of the state. Mount Snow is owned by Vail Resorts and is therefore on the Epic Pass. Since it is the closest ski area in Vermont to Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York City, Mount Snow is a very popular ski area, and can therefore often be quite busy. Mount Snow is known for being mostly intermediate groomers, which fill up the Main Face of the mountain, but it also has a nice variety of steeper trails on the North Face of the mountain, and has some of the largest terrain parks in New England, dedicating a whole area of the mountain to terrain parks, called Carinthia. In the summer, Mount Snow is home to scenic lift rides and mountain biking.
