How do you pronounce final ـه in waqf? Like for example in سورة النصر Aya number 3, there's an optional stop at وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرۡهُ, how do you pronounce it when stopping? Do you pronounce it وَسۡتَغۡفِرۡهُو ? Or do you pronounce it وَسۡتَغۡفِرۡهۡ ?

Do not forget the common mistake people make when pronouncing the "waow' or te "damma" most people pronounce them lightly without rounding the lips and make them sound like anther strange letter!

Salam. You should teach how to know what vowel to start with in words that begin with an alif. When words begin with an alif and they are found at the beginning of a verse or right after a word ending with a tanween, we can’t tell if the alif begins with an “a” “i” or “u” sound.

As Salamu Aleykum, I have a question why is the ه sometimes silent (almost) and sometimes fully pronouced like in Sura Zalzalah فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ ٧ yarah and not yarahu and in suratal balad أَيَحْسَبُ أَن لَّمْ يَرَهُۥٓ أَحَدٌ ٧ its pronouced as yarahu instead of yarah. i have heard this also before and it confused me when listening to the qur'an
Wa alikom asslam brother, The reason why we pronounce it as yarahu instead of yarah is that we keep on reciting in this position, and so we pronounce the short vowel 'dammah' in that position.
