    INGREDIENTS----
    1. Kidney Beans (राजमा) - 1 cup
    2. Curd - 1 cup
    3. Clarified Butter (Ghee) - 3 tbsp
    4. Small Cardamom - 2
    5. Cloves (लोंग) - 3
    6. Cinnamom - 1 small stick
    7. Fenugreek Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
    8. Rice Flour - 1 tsp
    9. Bayleaf (तेज़पत्ता) - 1
    10. Big Cardomom - 2
    11. Fennel Seeds Powder - 1/2 tsp
    12. Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
    13. Cumin Seeds (जीरा) - 1/2 tsp
    14. Salt - as per taste
    15. Roasted Jeera Powder - 1/2 tsp
    16. Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
    17. Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
    18. Asafoetida (हींग) - 1 pinch
    19. Black Pepper (crushed) - 5 to 6 Pepper
    20. Kidney Beans Water - 1 cup

    I am also from chamba but yeh madra aisa nahi dikhta usko toh dekhte hi khaane ka mnn krta h ...... Aur uss m dahi rajma se alag pata chalta h ki dahi daala h ...... Aur aapki recipe m toh pata hi ni chl raha h ki dahi h ya ni ....... Try again ..... But ya nice try 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

    मैं भी चम्बा से हूं, मधरा ऐसे ही बनता है। बेशक मामूली सा फर्क है लेकिन 90 फीसदी यहीं स्टाइल है। जो ये बोल रहे हैं कि मधरा ऐसे नहीं बनता उन्होंने सिर्फ खाया है बनाया नहीं है।

    Hello Rekha,
    Thank you for sharing your recipe. I was wondering why not using coriander powder like it is commonly the case with rajma ? I see that you've replaced it fenugreek and fennel powders. Is it still himachali in this case ?

      Dham is the Himachali word for Himachali village marriages lunch celebration......madra is a special dish cooked in himachal marriages...... thanks for watching the recipe.......

      They add rice flour to thicken the gravy is less time.. although conventionally it was left for an hour or so at lower flame to thicken the gravy ...

    रेखा जी जो मदरा आपने बनाया वो चंबा style नही है। चंबा का मदरा आपने खाया नही है। क्योंकि आपने जो मसाला डाला वो बहुत ज्यादा था , साथ ही मदरा में चावल का आटा नही मिलाया जाता।
