Great looking winch! One question regarding the Ranger XP though, why the heck is Polaris still using halogen bulb headlights instead of LED headlights in their quads and SxS's? I bought a pair of Polaris LED Headlights for my 2010 Polaris Sportsman 850XP years ago and they friggin rock! Added a few different Rigid Industries LED Dually's and an E-Series light bar and no issues at night whatsoever. I get that they are probably trying to push the LED light bars but you gotta be able to start with the Headlights, at least as an option to be added on from the Dealer.

Shouldn't you not use the rapid recovery mode with a synthetic winch line since you are supposed to wind those up under load? Makes sense for steel cable though.

Steel definitely needs to be wound under load.

@@gregorysoderlund8025 so does rapid recovery keep it loose? Probably have to rewind later under load either way I guess.
