This is all true. I wasn't even a Christian before. I had demons in me that made me so sick. Now I know the truth and I believe in God. Thank you jesus now I'm free.
This is a great video. When I heard God say don't believe man but listen to the gospel, I really started paying attention to the word. I love everything about Christianity.
man i get this video so much more now. I finally got the revelation he mentioned in a pioneer school video. I get it. Its so awesome. I am free. Baptism is more more than a symbol. Its powerful. baptism is to Jesus Christ to belong to him. Go Jesus. baptism awesome
Cups and cookies lol its that's easy but people don't understand or they love sin. I love this explanation because its so easy to understand and now its your move. Just move! What are you holding on to that sin for...it hasn't benefited you ever. Let go and live a real life. Great job as always Torben! 👍🙏👏
I was looking for this video to share. Thank you very much. God bless you and your loved ones now and forever. Hallelujah! Amen! Thank you for existing you glorify Jesus. I am so happy to know you. Thank you Lord for leading me to this man of yours. I am so grateful. Thank you Lord Jesus. All this years I see the truth in him. I see you Jesus. and I am so extremely happy. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord. Thank you Lord. GLORY TO JESUS! GLORY TO JESUS! GLORY TO OUR SAVIOR AND LORD JESUS CHRIST! GLORY! FOREVER GLORY! ETERNAL GLORY! BEAUTIFUL LORD JESUS CHRIST 🙌
I love this Torben the truth for all men is in these 3 things! I am so exited to see someone preaching the truth about repent, be baptised & receiving the Holy Spirit with sign of speaking in other tongues. Amen, very practical way of explaining the good news!!
Thanks Torben, this is fantastic. There is so much wishy washy preaching that leaves out Acts 2:38 that its not funny, they say that all you need to do is "receive Jesus Christ as your personal saviour" then they stop there. Go Acts 2:38!!! and never dilute the message. Full Gospel, nothing more and nothing less. Your incredibly inspiring to watch, thanks again.
What I struggle with, is seeing friends repent, get water baptised, earnestly seek the Holy Spirit but claim not to experience the HS or feel the HS work in their lives. Some become disillusioned and fall away. I know this is their journey etc, but from my viewpoint they have earnestly sought all 3 of the 'steps' with the HS failing them?
Jesus never went to Hell but Paradise or Abraham’s Bosom mentioned in Luke 16:19 . Assuredly this day you you will be with me in Paradise Luke 23:43. The statement that Jesus went to Hell comes from denominations like Catholicism and Lutherans. Jesus went down into Paradise or Abraham’s bosom and brought all the Old Testament saints with Him to Paradise of heaven Revelation 2:7. Jesus said at the cross it is finished which means it is finished
Paradise, aka the bosom of Abraham, WAS in hell. Then Jesus descended and took captivity captive, ascending into heaven with those that were in Paradise.
Robert Crusader The Lord Jesus explains this in Luke 16:19. There are two different compartment with no access from one to the other. Abraham and the Old Testament saints were awaiting the messiah and the ransom sacrifice of the Lord Jesus were in the Paradise area. And the lost were in the darkness. When the Lord Jesus gave up His Spirit he then descended into Paradise and proclaiming it is finished or Paid In Full. The Lord Jesus emptied Paradise and taking captivity captives and Paradise became Paradise of God or Paradise of heaven Revelation 2:7. There is no one in Hell yet and the first two to be thrown into Hell will be the beast or antichrist and false prophet Revelation 19:21 and death and hades will be cast into the lake of fire Revelation 20:14 and all whose names are not found in the Lambs Book of life Revelation 21:8. Our names are written in the Lambs book of life when we call on the Lord Jesus directly for salvation and forgiveness of sins and we’re then snatched from darkness to Jesus kingdom of light Colossians 1:13. Call on the Lord Jesus right now and have your name written in the Lambs book of Life
Mark 16:15-17, John 3:1-8, Acts 2 (especially v. 38-40), 8, 10-11, 19. This is how to be saved. Repentance (turn from your way and seek the Lord's), water baptism by full immersion, and infilling of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. That's the message Jesus preached. That's what the disciples experienced and preached, that's the conversion experience all of us need. Repenting and getting baptized is our job, being filled with the Spirit is God's job. Speaking in tongues is the Holy Spirit praying through us. Romans 8:9-10 says if we don't have the Spirit of Christ we don't belong to Him. Mark 16 Jesus said we have to believe AND be baptized to be saved and that signs would follow the believers, they will speak in new tongues. Test it out. Luke 11 says to ask and keep asking and you will receive the Holy Spirit. Put your trust in God. Test this out. Read it in your own Bible for yourself. There's no sinner's prayer in the Bible. There's no asking Jesus into your heart. But there IS a real, life-changing experience where God comes to dwell in those who humble themselves and seek Him. Truth with proof. Check out the revival fellowship for more info.
It is a very good explanation of why we need to be saved and that we need to repent from our sins and that Jesus is the One who saves, until he says that you must speak in tongues. A close study of 1Corinthians 12 will show that the Spirit gives the different gifts according to His will. 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 (ESV) 4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; 5 and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; 6 and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. 7 To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8 For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. I’ve looked through scripture and have not found that speaking in tongues is prescriptive. There are multiple descriptions of people being saved and speaking in tongues, but never teaching that we must speak in tongues as a result of being saved. This can be a stumbling block for people and we need to be sure what the scripture says about this. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness....Matthew 6:33
Actually, there are multiple arenas where tongues is applied. (1) the evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Every time someone was baptized with the Holy Spirit they spoke with other tongues. See Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:6. (2) to pray to God. See 1 Cor 14:2, 14. (3) to edify one's self. See 1 Cor 14:4; Jude 20. (4) the gift of tongues. To be given by the Spirit when doing ministry work in a foreign nation. This usually includes the gift of interpretation as they go hand-in-hand when on the mission field. (5) tongues with interpretation is equivalent to prophesy in the Church and is used to build up and edify the body. See 1 Cor 14:3-5. Finally, Paul stated that he spoke with tongues. See 1 Cor 14:18. And in verse 39 it states to not forbid the speaking in tongues. There is more but this should suffice.
The Bible says, "if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold, all things have been made new" 2 Cor. 5:17. How do we get "in Christ"? Is it through water? No, "if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth (not water) confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10
Meriwyn Thompson I believe that the scripture you quote is all about the Gospel, and others are like it. We believe in Jesus and we receive eternal life, being cleansed from sin and made a new creation. "I assure you; Anyone who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life." - Jesus in John 5:24 We are saved at the moment we believe and receive. Water baptism shows what has already happened! Jesus has provided forgiveness of sin....A free gift of faith.
Please do not forget the fact that the letter of Romans was already written to believers. It was written to the church in Rome, and thus the people to which this letter was written were already baptized (unlike many of us), that is why Paul doesnt mention the baptism there. I think that you have taken this verse out of context, and misinterpreted it.
So what of someone who is born again, having repented and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and who has been baptized with water, and in whom there is evidence of the workings of the Spirit, but who has never spoken in tongues nor prophecied?
raina29 Nope, just confess and repent, remember your identity is rooted in Jesus Christ, as a daughter of the King. It's a very high privilege, to be set apart for God.
I appreciate this man's heart, he is sincere, but the thief on the cross didn't have time to get water baptized and neither did Moses, David, or many other saints. Getting water baptized doesn't play a role in salvation. When the man asked Paul what to do to be saved in Acts 16:30-31, he said, "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved." That's it. When Paul declared what gospel he preached in 1 Corinthians 15, he didn't add water baptism there either. REMEMBER 1 Corinthians is the SAME letter Paul said "I'm glad I didn't baptize any of you...God sent me not to baptize but to preach the GOSPEL!"
I love you, my brothers and sisters at the Last Reformation. You are often in my thoughts and prayers. I have no dispute with your doctrine whatsoever. I would like to share with you a revelation you might appreciate concerning the trees in the garden. We are told that both were there and that God planted the garden with trees that are "good to eat." The one tree however was NOT "good to eat." That is why He told Adam, "Don't eat it!" ... so ... God DID NOT plant it. It was planted by the enemy ... just as Jesus tells us of the parable of the tares among the wheat in Matthew 13. Every tree that our Father has NOT planted will be pulled up by the roots. Proof of that is revealed to us in that last chapter of Revelation. We only see the ONE tree ... The Tree of Life .... in which we have the very Right / Authority to eat. Hope this edifies!
"9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil." kjv. Why then does the bible say God ALSO made the tree of life, AND the tree of knowledge of good and evil? explain please
It was an act of mercy removing Adam and Eve from the garden as God didn’t want man to live forevermore in his sinful state. He wouldn’t be able to live in his diseased state forevermore as it would be torture. God sent His Son Jesus to deal with mans sin issues. Jesus dealt with the sin of the entire world. Call on Jesus right now and and have Paradise and eternal life
August 29, 2024, From the History of the Jews in the Bible, Acts 8:14-17 14 Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that the Samaritans had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. 15 They went down and prayed that the people might receive the Holy Spirit. 16 For the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon anyone, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 When they laid their hands on them, they received the Holy Spirit. Evangelism to the Samaritans (5) Today's commentary. Peter and John's Visit "Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that the Samaritans had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them." (1) Philip asked the apostles in Jerusalem for help. Philip felt that it would not be easy to persuade the believers in Jerusalem. So he invited the apostles to investigate. (2) The Jerusalem church sent Peter and John. To decide a matter, the testimony of two or three witnesses is necessary (Deuteronomy 19:15). (3) It is ironic that John was sent. He had previously spoken ill of the Samaritans (Luke 9:54). Now John was trying to accept the Samaritans as his brothers. Incidentally, this is the last time John's name appears in the Book of Acts. "They went down and prayed that they might receive the Holy Spirit..." (1) The outpouring of the Holy Spirit like that of the Day of Pentecost had not yet occurred on the Samaritans. (2) "They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ." "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit" (Matt. 28:19) and "in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ" have the same meaning. Luke does not introduce the formula of baptism, but expresses its substance. In English, it is "baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus." (ASV). Baptism is an external expression of oneness with the Triune God and oneness with the Lord Jesus. (3) "For the Holy Spirit had not yet fallen on anyone." ① The various works of the Holy Spirit occur at the same time as believing. The various works are baptism by the Holy Spirit, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and the seal of the Holy Spirit. ② Here, there is a time lag between believing and the occurrence of the work of the Holy Spirit. This is a very irregular case. ③ The reason for the time lag is that this is an event related to the salvation of the Samaritans. "And they laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit." (1) The Samaritans received the Holy Spirit through the laying on of hands by Peter and John. ① Luke does not clearly state what phenomenon occurred, but it is assumed that something similar to that on the day of Pentecost (praying in tongues) occurred. The reaction of Simon the magician shows this. ② Thus, God guaranteed the salvation of the Samaritans. In other words, the validity of Philip's work was proven. We must not generalize what happened in history. In our day and age, the Holy Spirit's various works occur the moment we believe. Today's Prayer Heavenly Father, I thank you for the Holy Spirit. Please guide me today with the Holy Spirit. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
No, and tongues is not gibberish, Torben doesn't know jesus, i am sure of this... Just regret your selfishness and make amends while you seek a personal relationship with jesus and hope you find him, when you are about to give up then continue until you have nothing left in you and he will appear
Victoria Gramalis What?? Are you really Christian? The Bible is truely God's words. www.gotquestions.org/Bible-God-Word.html And this guy is false teacher. Please google his name!!
GreATER IS HE THAT iS IN ME tHeN HE thAT IS IN tHE WORLD... now share and DISpLAY Gods Power to everyone FOR GOds GLORY tht they might get saved..for JESUS is KING.. Sons and daughters of the living God..we are salt of the earth!! In the beggining was the WORD and the WORD was with GOD and the word was GOD....he died for me now he dwells in me.in THIs tempLe! Woah! ThE goodness of GOD transforms me.renews my MIND..THe fruits of the spirit is alrdi in me...LOVe jOY pEACE... SeLF CONTROL...so "I AM" 😆😄woooooooo!!
Victoria Gramalis, That is misleading, for the bible is a written word of God refer to as Rhema and the spoken word of God is Logos. Jesus our lord quoted the written word of God when he walk on planet earth. Jesus is also the spoken and written word of God. Time for bible study. If you know the written word well verse to verse and numbers to numbers so well, I think its not a sin to have it sit on one’s table while one do a video. Just like this teacher in the video is doing. Jesus is the lord. Amen.
God looks at and knows our heart; does he judge by the outward appearance of having a bible next to us all the time? Ask God to remove this religious spirit as it causes us to criticize and condemn people. People come to the Lord and repent because of his lovingkindness towards them. Also, have you ever considered that the followers of Christ had no written account/bible until about 100 yrs after his death nor did Abraham whose faith was accounted to him as righteousness. God bless those who trust your good news by faith, like a child, without questioning. For you bless those who believe and follow you! To Christ be the glory!

Very simple but so profound. The cookies have been served but God isn't going to force-feed anyone. It's our turn...

Thanks Torben, this is fantastic. Go Acts 2:38!!! and never dilute the message. Full Gospel, nothing more and nothing less. Your incredibly inspiring to watch, thanks again.
Awesome truth! Very well done!
Great illustration of the gospel! It's up to you now, Jesus has done all for you--Your turn! :) (you'll be so glad you did)

Hello can you make the video in french? Merci Torben God bless you !

Hi Torben can we just add the statement that He died for all of us and on the third day He rose again. What do you think?

Meriwyn Thompson I believe that the scripture you quote is all about the Gospel, and others are like it.

awesome
In Torah God tells you all the way through to not move until he tells you to or he will not be with you
Torah is truth it's the word of Yah.
So what of someone who is born again, having repented and accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and who has been baptized with water, and in whom there is evidence of the workings of the Spirit, but who has never spoken in tongues nor prophecied?
Is there a LEGO version of this movie?
It would be more EFTA. :-)
Question: If someone backslides, sins again and then, repents... Do you have to get baptized again?
raina29
Nope, just confess and repent, remember your identity is rooted in Jesus Christ, as a daughter of the King. It's a very high privilege, to be set apart for God.

Can anyone translate this to Korean?
No Romans was not written by Paul before he was born again. He wrote Romans in his old age as a Christian before he was beheaded. History proves that.

From the History of the Jews in the Bible,
Acts 8:14-17
14 Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that the Samaritans had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them.
15 They went down and prayed that the people might receive the Holy Spirit.
16 For the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon anyone, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
17 When they laid their hands on them, they received the Holy Spirit.
Evangelism to the Samaritans (5)
Today's commentary.
Peter and John's Visit
"Now when the apostles in Jerusalem heard that the Samaritans had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them." (1) Philip asked the apostles in Jerusalem for help.
Today's Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the Holy Spirit. Please guide me today with the Holy Spirit. I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Chess is a wargame.
“Israel” means “wrestles with God”.
Then, we are hell-bound unless we speak in tongues?
No, and tongues is not gibberish, Torben doesn't know jesus, i am sure of this... Just regret your selfishness and make amends while you seek a personal relationship with jesus and hope you find him, when you are about to give up then continue until you have nothing left in you and he will appear
This guy always does not have his bible either. We don't need only his thoughts or ideas. False teacher doesn't use bible. It's same as Brian Houston.

He has a Bible is in this video.
