I love how Darren has that 'busy tone' to everything he does. You can see his internal conflict through the whole video as he's excited to talk and share stories, but he's also impatient that his projects aren't making progress. His comment at the end cemented it. In the end he took the time to share, which means that was most important to him.
2 fuckin cool, 2 see Darren after all these year’s. I remember watching him on option video when he was 19 or 20 when D1 went to England. He blew my mind, this Irish kid was smokin everyone. Respect. Thx JBFU.
Oh wow I remember seeing that Blitz R34 at Brands Hatch this summer at Go Japan!/Tunerfest. Gotta admit I really don't know anything much about D1 or anything as I've only been into cars since 2017, but I remember them saying it was Ken Nomura's so the clips you added here are great to see to "fill in" the blanks around that for me.
i got to see it back in 2007 when d1gp came to englishtown raceway new jersey for the first time was my first d1 event ever at 18 years old i have never financially recovered from what i experienced
i remember darren talking about just getting the black limited during the after party of fd irwindale 2010 LAPD later raided the party at 5am good times.....good times
Got a pic of this little beauty from pd... Awesome to watch this vlog Brought back some good memories from back in the day 😀 if only I could upload the pic on here
those rear coilovers look perfect for kp starlet, the techno toy tuning coilovers proide too big of a spring so the spring touches in the wall of the strut tower
Darren's a real swell guy by the looks of it. I wasn't really into drifting back then, so it's amazing to hear these stories right from the horse's mouth! Love his passion for cars and for doing his own thing with them. That's some shed he has there! Another great episode lads
Another great story. keep 'em coming dude. Lord knows I'm familiar with how long editing takes, but come on now, get me more regular vids. DANCE, MONKEY, DANCE! Much love, you Juicebox lot. Keep being you.
The aul boy is an absolute legend. I love in Ireland that whatever your hobby, if you show a polite interest, people will take the time to show something your interested in.
Darren was a trail blazer for Drifting in Ireland & without his Toyota AE86 smoking tyres in Mondello & RoseGreen drifting would not be as big a sport as it is in Ireland. I salute & thank you sir. P.s does he still have the Mk1 Fiesta Xr2.
Legendary car, legend driver, great days. I will never forget standing at the tyre wall (god bless media vests lol) at Silverstone watching him vs the D1 guys and doing amazingly.
Love it, remember seeing his 86 in super street when I was 15-16 years old, this is so nostalgic.. So happy I'm an 86 owner, the history is just awesome.
It's really awesome looking through the histories of these cars, recently a Black Limited Trueno went up for sale here in Aus, I'd buy it if I had a spare $54000 haha
I remember going to ProDrift at Mondello in 2006 when I was about 9 and being absolutely obsessed with D Mac's Twincam. Must have taken a heap of photos of it on my Sony Ericsson!
That tricolour, get shot up here for that, how silly 🤣 That lads proper grounded, cheers from Coleraine, ps don't take a UV light to that poster lol.......
There was a guy near where I lived in Thames Ditton Surrey who had a black edition AE86, I asked him to buy it years ago, but he said no now I know why lol.
Something about old Irish men and old Toyotas just gotta love it 😂😂
If your da hasn't owned a Toyota Avensis he's not Irish.
@@crooked.etched deh Vincy, Shure she's a great yoke
@@crooked.etched if a relation hasn’t owned an is200 are you really irish😂
The Starlet caught more attention than everything else 😂👌
They're serious craic!! Skinnys tyres known to man and no power steering make for a sketch-tacular spin!
There's something about that man and his Starlet that really makes me happy inside
Undying love.
100% agree

DMAC's Twin Cam was the screen saver pic on my laptop for years. I absolutely love that car.
That gearknob though, absolute class 😂, great vid as always
"Butsy Butler, you prob know him"
... awkward silence 😂😂😂
Had to cut a few bits out there, stories not suited for YT 😂
@@juiceboxforyou I knew it 😂😂😂 pure gold. Laughed so hard when you just edited over it
17:20 "if you ever finish your car" "The vlogs are a year behind at this moment" year later they are still year behind...
The sad reality
@@juiceboxforyou I hear the same comments about my build. The tortoise always wins the race.
Amazing ta see to see D-Mac's garage and listen to his story, A very important part of the Irish drift story.
2 episodes to go till 100, great work lads!
Leave one side the Falken livery and do the otherside the original livery so you honor both times of its history
Very good.. The old lad at the end is brilliant.. 👍
Probably my favourite Garage Visit episode to date. Hearing D-Macs story was brilliant.
For sure, too good to cut out of the video.
I’m loving every one of these uploads, keep up the great work man! 🤙🤙🤙. Also that is the strongest Irish accent I’ve ever herd! 🍀🍀🍀
Subtitles were definitely needed, then again I'm fermanagh and I swear a Cavan accent can throw me 😂
That E34 Alpina.... love it sooo much
It’s like my uncle in West Yorkshire has 6x 22B Impreza Subaru’s been collecting them from decades ago. Appreciating classics now!
That old fella was awesome!
Not even a Ae86 fan always been into escorts but this side of the scene is something special
Really cool guy McNamara! And the old man! It's nice to roll in and have a great talk and score some great parts!
That intro! Only d-Mac would have genuine footage with crazy Japanese commentary! Epic!
I'm loving the subtitling...barely got a word.
AHHH Mondays wouldn't be the same ,without the juice

I know this video is old, but niell mentioned the vids being a year behind does that still apply to the lastest vlog of 2022?
always good entertainment. Juicebox never disappoints. Thanks boys
that Starlet is seriously cool, the gearknob is mint. something really cool about seeing "ordinary" cars that have been taken really good care of
For sure, always a joy to see this stuff being maintained.
man time flies.. I remember watching him practically almost a decade ago in the falken s14. thanks for the quality post @juiceboxforyou
