I had the honour and privilege of meeting this wonderful lady at a convention in my home town, so sad at the news of her passing, rest easy Jacqueline
An iconic character of a generation on a cult sci-fi series. Is there anyone my age that doesn't know who Jacqueline Pearce is and what a memorable character Servalan was, ice cold and ruthless, unlike the real person. RIP.

My first crush as a boy was on Servalan. Jacqueline Pearce was brilliant with just the right amount of measure camp. Fabulous actress.
Only recently heard of her passing. She was beautiful as a young woman and never lost that beauty during her life. In fact her beauty increased with age. As an actress she made her characters so believable. What more could an actress do. I have a full set of Blakes 7 so whenever i want to bring her back to life I will just play a dvd.
First saw her in 1966s the Reptile and I could not take my eyes off her stunning beauty. Never forgot her .

I’m so sad to learn of Jacqueline Pearce’s very untimely passing. She’s been such a bright part of the fandom of both Hammer, Doctor Who and of course the brilliant Blake’s 7, where she played the best, most delicious baddie every loved to hate.
She was so unkind Servalan in being cold and aloof, but was every bit as intelligent, sharp and funny.
You’ll be greatly missed Jacqueline Pearce.
I met her at a convention in June 1990 at a hotel in Cardiff, ''Blake 7/Dr Who convention called ''Carousel', she was so friendly and mixed with the fans.
She carried the series sometimes and played the dominatrix so well
She was my favorite character on Blake's 7,a villainess but nonetheless the most interesting and enigmatic of all.
She was simply stunning!!!
My god, what a woman ! I first saw her in one of the two Hammer horrors she starred in and was immediately captivated by her beauty. Those eyes !! Didn't know her at all from Blakes 7, not being a sci-fi fan, but seeing her interviews recently on here made me realise just what a wonderful character she had too. She was too full of life for what has become a straitlaced, bourgeois and mediocre Western culture, her talent wasted. Spark up a ciggy and down a glass of champagne in honour of her beautiful spirit.
Part of my childhood is gone...it's hard to imagine Blake's 7 without her
I agree with you in billions of ways Blake,s Seven without Servalan would never have been as grand and awesome Servalan is the best female arch-villain in sci-fi ever and although the Borg Queen in STTNG is good Servalan is a much better villain all round. I also could not imagine if Servalan had not become the arch-enemy of Blake's 7 who would we have had as the arch-enemy instead of her ?

Not to mention what I perceive to be a wicked sense of humour through your acting. I treasure the roles I have seen you in, and I look forward to seeing more of you in the future.

Servalan was a classic arch-villain in Blake's Seven and B7 would ever have been the same without Servalan as the arch-villain.
I've started watching the Blake's 7 series again and she was truly evil. She must have had fun doing that role.
The sexiest woman on telly in the 70s but, charmingly, a lovely person as well.
Every young lads 'pin up'. No disrespect, she just had that special 'something' RIP lovely lady.
Jacqueline Pearce as Servalan was the sweet icing of the Blake's 7 series; may she rest in peace.

We continually hear from feminists that there aren't enough women in top acting roles which allows them freedom of expression, puts them in control and allows them to lord it over the men. Well here she was girls. If not enough of you took the hint on how the use your 'charms' to become Supreme Commander of the Galaxy that's your problem!! It's fair to say that without her, Blake's 7 would not have been the classic it was.
