I can only say that with the outfits she wore, she could be classed as Shirley Bassey in space. She would make an awesome Bond villain. Someone like her would be a good PM for this country. Everything which should be done, could happen. She has nerves of steel and a backbone and would put the shakes on BoJo. Out of all the villains on film and TV, she is the ultimate Baddie. Forget Blofeld, Goldfinger and Darth Vader, these guys would be frightened of her as she doesn't take crap from anyone.

Jacqueline Pearce was brilliant as the arch villain and psychopath in space. She was also goid in plague of Zombies. I think Blake's 7 wouldn't have been so brilliant with her!
I love Jacqueline as the Supreme Commander in Blake 7. Made the late 1970s very special. And my nephew got into the videotapes while growing up in the 1990s. And yes he's a great fan of a super series. The acting was good and the stories fun even when the budget was low. I think Jacqueline made a wonderful contribution to drama and did some cult classic horror films in 1960s. The woman became legend xxxx RIP Jacqueline xxx

Servalan as the arch-enemy and arch-villain was the best thing about B7 I cannot imagine B7 without Servalan as the arch-enemy and she outlived the heroes including Blake himself.

My father and I watched her in Blakes 7 as Servalan. My father was quite afterwards, then said that she was not really appropriate for TV that kids might be watching. I asked "What do you man dad" he was quite and then said "It's just not right" I knew exactly what he was thinking. Jacqueline just oozed dominant SEX in that role just by shear acting ability.
As a 10 year old boy she was one of those actresses that oozed sex appeal and although not understanding that at the time I was turned on without knowing. Both Jacqueline Pearce and Joanna Lumley fascinated me!.. 😳👍

Another VERY SAD day for B7 fans today with the death of Paul Darrow (Avon) :( :( :( …..He was virtually everyone's favorite or second fav character. The ONLY possible positive I'm taking from this news is that there may be another wonderful Sci-fi Assassin tribute video in the coming weeks or months!

I do say this given how awesome and superb, arch-enemy and returning arch-villain Servalan in B7 was there are not IMO really any other female villains who overshadow her not even the Rani in classic Dr Who or even the Borg queen in Star Trek next generation comes close to been as grand a villain as Servalan .

Servalan was a complete psychopath. Remember the way she smiled while killing Hal Mellanby.
