I looked up why we rest soil and this is what it said:
Resting your soil stops it from being further depleted, but resting alone doesn't replenish any of the nutrients that are vital to growth. It is important you add nutrition to the soil while resting for a better harvest next season.
Sometimes your season of isolation are seasons of rest! God is replenishing your soil with nutrients for your next season!!!

5 traumatic experiences that causes weeds to grow (a harden heart)
1. Abandonment drains love from the soil and leaves fear in its presence
Fear stop being the absence of Faith but the absence of love

When His love hits the soil fear has to run
We talk about the trauma as what happened and it’s about the wounds that are left
Abandonment make it hard for us to give love purely and receiving love
2. Lost is a trauma if it overwhelms your capacity to cope with it
Lost drains us and Makes it harder to receive love because lost makes us believe we’ll lose love again
3. Abuse=power that injures
Injured by someone who misuses their power over you.
Injuries that traumatize you
4. Rejection in relationships
The first thing we’re ordained to grow
(Pulling grass out the soil)
Unworthiness in your heart
Maturing too early
Having to handle things and being aware of things you have no power to affect…it’s traumatic
Be careful over sharing your traumatic experiences with too much information
You can protect without traumatizing them
Stop giving young ppl more information than they have the capacity to respond to
If they have no power to respond to the trauma you informed them about they will be shaken and feel unsafe in the world…that’s trauma
The number 1 parenting fail is pride

My sermon notes for "The scene of the fall// damaged but not destroyed week 2:
1.) God wants you to know it's your turn to birth your next. You have to learn to listen to God in different ways, it's not always loud and flashy but his word is always true.
2.) How do you know when you are done hurting? Are you producing what you were designed to produce? Are your relationships healthy? Are you walking in your purpose? Are you leaving a legacy?
3.) Emotions are bodily experiences and not a thought product
4.) Abandonment- abandonment drains love from the soil and leaves fear in it's place. Fear is not the opposite of faith but the abscence of love. Abandonment is a trauma
5.) Lost- lost is a trauma if it overwhelms your capacity to cope with it
6.) Abuse-
7.) Rejection- maturing it too early, having to handle things and be aware of things that you don't have the ppwer to affect is traumatic
8.) Shame-
9.) The love God has placed in you are will replace all and restore all. Recieve love in your garden

I am a brainiac! I love to learn and think. Nitrogen is one of the main components needed for soil in the ground to be healthy. Nitric oxide, which is two molecules of nitrogen and one oxygen molecule helps our blood vessels to dilate in our body and helps the blood flow more easily throughout our body. When God breathed life into me/us, as the speaker said, God created a different version of the garden in our bodies. we both need nitrogen, but as human beings made in the image of God, we also need the breath of life, the oxygen.
