Living on an island, I bought a HV 2 direct for self- install. Hypervolt was really easy to deal with. Looking forward to seeing new V2X technology coming out, hopefully as an upgrade to HV2.
@@digitaria Yes, bought direct and installed it myself. It's on a post (bought through Hypervolt) at edge of the driveway . Buried 20m of 6mm Doncaster Cables EV-Ultra Cat 5 to a 40A RCBO with suppressor.
@@digitaria SWA to 450mm depth. I had an NICEIC Contractor do the final connect through new 100A Consumer Unit and test. The DNO is bloody useless. I've had a request in for 18 months for a change of meter since getting an ASHP installed.
Hands down the best customer experience (better than any “big company’s i have bought products from) have had and the best simple to use technology!! I wish all companies worked how they work here im not just saying it !! It is facts !! (Still waiting for my car to use my charger :( lol)
@hypervolt could you please do a video for members of the public who are doing self installs please? I am not saying that it cannot be done, however, THE DANGERS most be highlighted. The install must be notified to LABC and DNO. Notifying the DNO is very important. Another aspect is demand this has to taken in consideration. Supply fuse rating must be checked. If you are amending the current installation the supply tails and earthing conductors must be at the sizing set out in BS7671:2020. I left the best for last "Safe Isolation". It's a lot more than simply running a bit of cable and adding a breaker.
